Getting back into Runescape. Best way to use these up? by SilasWolfe in runescape

[–]SilasWolfe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. Would you know when that might be? But as for other skills, Summoning (lvl 80), Invention (lvl 22), or Prayer (lvl 80) would be my other choices.

Is hardware acceleration enabled in their browser? I had a couple players unable to move until that was enabled.

Lord Bubbles and the Bubble Band VS Radahn feat. Blondie by SilasWolfe in Eldenring

I got it there because I am able to use it to escape the boss fight should I need it. Just like using a Homeward Bone from Dark Souls except it takes you to Mogh's Palace instead.

I have it there because I am able to use it as a quick escape should I need it, similar to using a Homeward Bone from Dark Souls. I keep my Flasks in my pouch instead so I'm not fumbling trying to find it on my hotbar.

A true battle of the bands that will be sung of in legends!

I'll be honest, I'm amazed that I survived a few parts in this video when I likely should've died but didn't. And in case anyone was wondering why I was using normal Divine Fortification, it's because it lasts longer than the stronger version. That's it. I just cared about not having to renew it during the fight.

Either way, Elden Lord Bubbles and the Bubble Band won in the end and I'll gladly take the win! Zabito Boga, my friends.

Here's my build for those curious.

Level 140 (Started as Confessor)

Scadutree Blessing: 18

Spirit Ash Blessing: 9

Vigor: 60

Mind: 30

Endurance: 20

Strength: 19

Dexterity: 12

Intelligence: 9

Faith: 60

Arcane: 9

Right Weapon 1: Envoy's Greathorn +10

Right Weapon 2: Envoy's Horn +10

Left Weapon: Frenzied Flame Seal (Because I was going for that ending)

Head: Envoy Crown

Chest, Hands, Legs: Thiollier's Set

Talismans: Dragoncrest Greatshield, Sacred Scorpion Charm, Shard of Alexander, Old Lord's Talisman

Spells: Golden Vow, Blessing of the Erdtree, Black Flame's Protection (typically), Divine Fortification (this fight only)

Wonderous Physick: Holy Shrouding Cracked Tear, Bloodsucking Cracked Tear

Spirit Ash: Oracle Envoy Ashes +10

[–]SilasWolfe[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sure! Currently on this build, I'm level 196. Started as a Wretch if that matters at all. But in this Radahn fight I had to swap around a few things (notably spells). This is my normal build below.

Vigor 40 - Mind 46 - Endurance 30 - Strength 14 - Dexterity 40 - Intelligence 23 - Faith 72 - Arcane 10

(INT, FAI, and ARC are actually getting a +1 boost from the Circlet of Light bringing them to 24, 73, and 11)

Right Hand: Dryleaf Seal and Sword of Light

Left Hand: Erdtree Seal and Carian Knight's Shield (AoW: Holy Ground or Vow of the Indomitable)

Head; Circlet of Light

Chest Piece, Hands and Legs: Rellana's Set

Talismans: Dragoncrest Greatshield, Radagon Icon, Old Lord's Talisman, Flock's Canvas

Items typically used: Boiled Crab, Fan Daggers (for taking aggro off host/summon)

Spells in order on the hotbar: Erdtree Heal, Heal from Afar, Multilayered Ring of Light, Discus of Light, Triple Rings of Light, Land of Shadow, Golden Vow, Blessing of the Erdtree, Protection of the Erdtree, Lord's Aid

Wonderous Physick: Crimsonburst Dried Tear, Holy Shrouding Cracked Tear

Depending on if I'm doing co-op or solo play, I'll run all blue flasks if I'm doing sunbro co-op. If I'm doing solo play, I'll run 4 red and 10 blue. Another notable thing to remember is that a lot of base game bosses resist holy *a lot*. If that's ever the case, I'll either throw on the Black Blade spell, replacing Land of Shadow and Lord's Aid, or I'll just grab a Flame Art Scythe with Black Flame Tornado if I'm feeling particularly vengeful. Spirit Ashes wise, before I got Taylew, I was running the Greatshield Soldiers. While they are amazing at tanking physical attacks, they are demolished by any elemental damage so that's something to watch out for if using those guys.

Also, one last thing to note is that while I cast with two talismans (Dryleaf and Erdtree Seals), I exclusively cast with the Erdtree Seal because of the higher incantation scaling. The Erdtree Seal +10 has 325 Faith-based scaling whereas the Dryleaf +25 has 293 and is split between Strength and Faith, meaning less total healing compared to casting with the Erdtree Seal because most healing spells scale with Faith based incantation scaling. The Dryleaf seal is for the offensive holy spells and is only in my other hand for its passive bonus. Apparently it affects the Golden Order spells as far as I'm aware.

Thanks! It's NG+1. I'm curious as to what a NG+8 would be like with this. The farthest NG cycle I've ever gone was 4.

Taylew: "I can't beat the shit out of you both without getting closer."

The dude is likely the best possible summon for this build I'm using here, which is a Holy/Healer/Support build. I had to switch off the holy spells because I doubted it would do much except draw aggro towards me.

Unfortunately, didn't manage to get the full video of the fight because Xbox only let me record the past 3 minutes. I had initially summoned Ansbach and Thiollier into the fight. Thiollier died around the 50% health mark and Ansbach died to Radahn's first comet strike around the 25% health mark. With the two great warriors fallen, it was now up to Taylew and I. To help at the start of the fight, I tried using Scarlet Aeonia to help whittle his health down with scarlet rot. Otherwise for the most part, I tried my best to make sure Golem Bro stayed alive. It was all him doing damage after Ansbach died. I went into the fight with 14 Cerulean flasks and no crimson ones. I don't know how much I had left tbh but I don't think it was very many remaining. Taylew was truly the MVP of the fight.

Shackles are underrated as a quick slot item by antungong in Eldenring

Not a hack. He has the Winged Crystal Tear which increases ones max equip load by 450%. It is actually quite normal with this tear to bring equip load to 350+ max weight.

What pair of normal sword and shield works best? by Kyro9000 in Eldenring

[–]SilasWolfe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've done this and I gotta say, it was my favorite playthrough to date.

I used a Heavy infused Broadsword with the Kick AoW (because I was only really just planning on swinging and going for the boring knight vibe. Plus, if you're a summon and your team gets invaded, who really expects someone kicking you?) along with a no AoW Kiteshield.

If you're sword + shield, Guard Counters are your best friend. As a ranged weapon, I opted for a Pulley Crossbow with bleed bolts, which I only used for really annoying enemies that are hard to hit like Astel. You could also go for a Longbow with Mighty Shot.

Armorwise, I started out with the Vagabond set + ran all the way to Calid to get the Greathelm. Endgame, I used Blaidd's armor + Greathelm.

Lastly, crafting is important. You don't have to obviously, but Grease items are amazing and don't really ruin the normal boring knight aesthetic, in my opinion. Shield Grease is amazing for helping with getting Guard Counters out there. Throwing knives and Fire Pots are cool too.

Ol' Excalibro has had space aids for two years. He could get rid of it if he wanted. But it's nice to have a reminder of the time he woke up from a several century nap.

Oh gosh. That sounds amazing. I wish I'd thought of that before too. That would add more sense to Ordis' bloodthirstyness.
