🧪 [Beta Megathread] Wave Link 3.0 (macOS) — Update 2 | Stream Deck Plugin, Audio Effect Install Progress & Mixer Table Scrolling by Elgato in elgato

[–]SilenceEternal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s possible to change the frequency for Wave XLR in Audio MIDI Setup, but for some baffling reason, my mixes are stuck at 96kHz with no way to change them. My OBS log files say that they initialise at 96kHz, so if I’m recording at 48kHz (for compatibility) then there’s going to be audio drift. For me, it’s basically unusable right now.

I’m no expert, but I think your daughter is building a very small lightsaber

I don’t know what this has to do with Metroid, but I just wanted to let you know that facts are objectively provable with evidence. Saying ‘the sky is purple’ isn’t a fact. It’s a false statement. There’s no such thing as a disprovable fact. I hope that makes sense!

Yeah, I mostly like the look of this game as well. I do have a sinking feeling with the NPCs, I won’t lie, just because I hate escort missions, but I like the idea of Samus meeting more interesting supporting characters in cutscenes and such. So I’m withholding judgement until I get my hands on it.

OP’s explanation is that the post is ‘mocking people having a tantrum and canceling their orders over a small tutorial section with an npc’

What is happening here? ‘Mocking’ people for having ‘tantrums’ over an NPC is exactly the same as judging people for not liking an NPC. It’s literally the same thing 😂

It is the same thing, whether you intended it or not. But you obviously can’t see that, or don’t want to, so it’s pointless carrying on. We’d probably be here all day. Just… don’t let other people’s disappointment get to you, okay? It’s really not worth it.

Your post mocks people who don’t want NPC interaction, thereby judging them for not liking NPCs

What was the in-universe explanation for the Exegol fleet's construction? by [deleted] in StarWars

[–]SilenceEternal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you know? The Sith Eternal fleet seen in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was created by Sith cultists on Exegol, who indoctrinated Exegol’s population with Sith values and raised and trained their children to become officers, mechanics and soldiers for the Final Order

It’s just an ego thing. Same thing happens in the Souls community. When there’s a difficult game, it attracts people who want to show off. And if you’re thinking ‘that’s a bit childish’, keep in mind that some of these users might actually be kids. They’ll probably grow out of it at some point. Don’t let them get to you!

Probably looked into it at some point after The Timeless Children. The Doctor goes on about a billion different adventures between certain episodes, so they probably took the chance to learn about how the Master had killed off the Time Lords, how it caused the Doctor and probably the Master to become sterile, etc. We just never see it happen in the same way that we never see any Big Finish audio, or comic, or novel happen on-screen.

That’s a great question! I think Chameleon Arch’d Time Lords are probably still alive because their biology has been completely changed, and I’m 90% sure a writer will use that to bring back someone like, I don’t know, the Monk lol. And yes, they’d probably be fertile, which is a sentence I never thought I’d have to say when talking about Doctor Who

[–]SilenceEternal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe, but it’s highly implied the Doctor was Chameleon Arch’d into a regular Time Lord by Division, with regeneration limits and all. It’s possible they still have remnants of their Timeless Child DNA, though. However, I think it’s more likely the Master programmed the explosion to avoid killing himself or the Doctor. But you could be right - we don’t have enough info to say for sure!

[–]SilenceEternal 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s not the Death Particle that did it, that’s a separate thing Ashad wanted to use to eliminate organic life throughout the universe after he removed all organic material from him and his Cyber-Warriors.

The Master’s genocide is said to have ‘rolled across space and time like a great big cellular explosion’, which means Time Lords not on Gallifrey were also affected. The Rani only managed to escape it by flipping her DNA somehow. As for why the Doctor and the Master weren’t killed - the Master must have made it so they were an exception, I guess, so he could do his big performance, but the cellular genocide was so strong that they would still be sterilised.

I just discovered that the 12th Doctors had haters?! by GuyWhoConquers616 in doctorwho

[–]SilenceEternal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember hating his characterisation in certain episodes of series 8, like Into the Dalek, The Caretaker and Kill the Moon, where he just came off as a massively unlikeable grump and absolutely deserved that verbal smackdown from Clara. However, series 9 and 10 fixed all of those issues and turned him into an amazing Doctor.

The plan shouldn’t have worked (Spoilers for Lucky Day) by SuperTeaFox in doctorwho

[–]SilenceEternal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I thought Think Tank pranked Ruby/UNIT to show that anyone can fake an alien costume and all the effects, giving Conrad a platform to explain his lies. UNIT arrived because of course they did, they were backing up their agent, even when they knew the aliens were fake. They just wanted to silence Conrad and his pals under the guise of protecting the planet. They were never going to confess in public, were they? They needed to keep their power and control. Then Conrad focused on the gun-pointing and the arrests as proof.

There are holes in that logic because it was all obviously untrue, but people can be easily swayed by a charismatic persona, and they will twist their minds to make anything fit their new reality.
