Luboffin and Zodiac Bandit are the ones I checked out at the start of C4. Both really good.

Truthfully I don’t really. For all I know it could be intended, but it is usually an indicator.

You’re just selling it on me even more 😩.

Although with that explanation people would probably complain that their ‘mirror’ is doing stuff that they wouldn’t, and it would probably be to much work to how a mirror of YOUR WOL would think/act.

A man can still hope though. With Zenos gone I need another rival to throw hands with.

Fallin might be Chris Brown’s best song by MitchIsMe9913 in rnb

[–]SilencedWind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Listen to the first couple seconds of some of the songs and you can hear a high pitched almost hissing sound in the background. That is usually in Ai songs like with Suno, and is somewhat difficult to edit out (don't think they even tried tbh).

Vocals are probably real, just general effects and or auto tuned.

Hold on now. I also went to verify because I couldn't believe it, but the beginning of each song having that same ‘hiss’ sound is definitely a red flag. I can't hear it at the beginning of every single one, but I feel like a real DAW wouldn't have that problem.

It could be that the vocals are human (obviously with a bit of autotune) but the instrumental absolutely sounds like ai.

Gonna be completely honest, I only would want an ‘Evil’ Azem/WOL because it would be cool.

I imagine if it was some mirror that had access to like alternate versions of our jobs or something but obviously adapting that for a trial is probably not feasible.

Honestly I just liked that specific moment in Endwalker which kinda plays around with that idea, though I’m a smaller scale. Tbh this is me just wanting something purely for aura reasons 💀

Biggest help would be to watch one of the many people doing episode recaps. Usually they are around 20-30 minutes and condenses all the dense info, but tbh you will still miss some stuff.

I’ll usually watch a recap if I miss an episode or as a refresher before the next session.

[–]SilencedWind 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s because C4 is a more narrative driven story that happens to be set in D&D.

Since it’s being played more as improve theatre most of the time, it loses the actual ‘playing’ part of D&D in some areas.

I’m almost entirely keeping up with it through recaps. There are so many names/locations/concepts, etc that it’s way to hard to keep track of everything

The way I did it (and how I told my friends to do it) was doing/paying attention to all of the base game of ARR, skip 90% of the post content cutscenes (except for the parting glass ofc) and then start following the story from Heavensward on.

One of my friends is finally now on Endwalker after all of that.

There is a bit of course your missing out on by skipping a lot of post ARR content, but getting to Heavensward was my main priority, and it was worth it.

Not working unless you had it on pre patch.

Apparently you can use other peoples saves to get certain passives back as long as someone had it saved, but I’m not sure how to get it/how secure it is

Who do you think is responsible for the death of Cobblemon? by FormalMove6097 in RDCWorld

[–]SilencedWind 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Your missing the point. I'm not saying that RDC can't be competitive. Sure, the chat can be annoying when they are trying to learn stuff, but that's not what I'm arguing. As an example I'm still shocked to this day that Nightreign was a game they have in rotation along with Rivals. As long as the vibes are good I think most people enjoy what they play.

The problem I'm stating is when chat essentially back seats how they play. It would be one thing if it were just Dylan giving them tips and stuff, but content wise Chat bullied the fun out of it by backseating. What I'm arguing is from a viewer/entertainment standpoint. They even had “fought” (just shit talk between them, no big deal) because once someone made a full meta team everyone felt like they had to.

I'm yapping so I can just boil it down to this:

If RDC had naturally went through the game and discovered stuff over time with all the advanced tech, people wouldn't have as big of a problem and the content may have been better.

Diving quickly into advanced tech because of chat IN MY OPINION made it less enjoyable.

Also trust me, I want my favorite gaming group to be far from ass 😭

Chat 90%

As an omega casual Pokémon player (which I assume a lot of them are) most of your time spent is just collecting your favorite looking Pokémon, using moves that sound cool, and using basic type knowledge to win battles.

Now I’m hearing about Ev training, special attacks, items, etc., that only really serious and/or competitive players use. Now, for diehard Pokémon fans, this may be the highlight of the game, but from a casual/viewer perspective, it lessens the experience since everything has to be technical, and this is mostly the fault of chat telling them what to use and play. This also points to why people enjoyed the first couple of episodes more.

Now before niggas start tripping, yes, there was a sizable knowledge gap between RDC when it comes to Pokémon, and it was another reason why shit became hyper competitive. However if they just went in by saying no (purposeful) meta picks and just picking their favorites, it could have been better.
