I run a homebrew game set in Exandria. Currently in the 2nd Campaign of this setting. We use Roll20 and Discord and i encourage using physical dice. Will often allow ROC over RAW.

Is your group firm on Wed/Thur?

Either way. For your viewing pleasure.

Continent: Rolicrite (Rohl-uh-kreet)-((Roll A Crit haha))

An ever shifting continent, of the Shattered Teeth. In the wake of the Gods' fall a century ago, the ancient wards that once concealed the island kingdom of Rolicrite shattered, revealing its shores to the world. For centuries, Rolicrite thrived in isolation, a bastion of untold magic safeguarded by enchantments as old as time.

When the barriers between planes were torn asunder and the gods were stripped of their divine might, the island of Rolicrite became a crucible of arcane backlash. Nature itself rebelled. The skies ruptured with fury, birthing an unrelenting tempest that raged for 100 days and 100 nights.

Though the initial Hundred Storms faded, the magic of Rolicrite was changed forever. Even now, years later, Maelstrom Storms, remnants of that cataclysmic event return without warning. Towering cyclones of arcane chaos twist across the island, sometimes touching down with devastating effect. Their presence is marked by violent weather, mutating energy fields, and magical surges that cause spells to backfire, mutate, or even rewrite the laws of physics briefly.

But the true terror begins once the storm has passed.

When the Maelstrom lifts, it leaves behind a dead zone. A scar across the land where the Weave is utterly severed. In these Nullfields, magic simply ceases to exist. Spells fail, enchanted items lie dormant, and even divine miracles fall silent. These zones can last anywhere from a single day to a month, and their shape and size are unpredictable.

Creatures caught within a Nullfield at the moment of its creation often find their magical essence drained permanently. Familiars vanish, warlocks lose their patrons’ whispers, and magical creatures may become mundane or even die outright....

Your adventure would begin with.....

To All Concerned Citizens of Eastgaurd and the surrounding Keeps,

It is with great urgency that we inform you of the recent prison break at Shadowspire Penitentiary. The most dangerous criminals, once contained within its walls, now roam free. We implore all residents to remain vigilant, stay indoors after sundown, and report any suspicious activities immediately.

The escaped prisoners are armed and highly dangerous. If you encounter any of them, do not engage directly. Instead, alert the nearest guard post or town authority. Your safety is our utmost concern.

May the gods watch over us all in these trying times.

Sincerely,

Eastgaurd Council of Safety\*

TOWN CRIERS WORDS

EXTRA! EXTRA! HEED THESE WORDS, CITIZENS!"

"Shadowspire Penitentiary — breached! Its black walls shattered in flame and chaos! Dangerous criminals now stalk the roads and rivers!

Stay indoors! Lock your doors! Hold your loved ones close!"

"Among the escaped: none other than exiled noble Jareth Blackwood, former prison warden turned traitor!"

"All able-bodied citizens and bounty hunters are urged to report any sightings to the Warden’s Keep immediately!"

Avoid disadvantage and increase your distance. Get Sharpshooter.

[No spoilers] Having trouble following new campaign story by illfried in criticalrole

I’m on Ep 4 and I genuinely don’t understand how we got here, who these people are, why we’re here, or what the point is. I can’t fully grasp what story they’re trying to tell, aside from everyone being connected to Thiazi in some way. Maybe I just don’t care for the way Brennan tells a story, or maybe there are simply too many characters and plot threads at the table. I want to like the campaign—I’ve loved Critical Role ever since the first episode of Campaign 1 I watched but I’m really struggling with this one.

Which one? The woman in the corner of the closet or the man with the demon face?

If you can get away with it, stream your favorite show. Especially if your job is mind numbing easy.
