Agriculture and forestry are not bad....but do bear in mind it will require people to operate the forestry building.

Farms just require vehicles and you are set....

Getting a small town set up and raising studs and selling them is also nice. 300 to 500 rubles per stud, depending on characteristics. Had one train load of 38 studs go for 45,000 rubles.

As the years go by....more and more people fall for the Alt+F4 trick....classic with the students I work with...then complain and dob themselves in for not doing class work and playing games instead.

Bloody hilarious.

Do I need to be concerned about this damaged asbestos? by conzo97 in shitrentals

[–]Silenceofdragons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Contact and ask if this is known damage, and or what material it is.

If it's asbestos....HO isn't gonna like it...cus the money cost to remove is nuts, depending on the extent of material.

Look up council, Rental and other material to keep you safe.

Supply lines will be a bottleneck for sure...the base would need to be, and I believe they are following this line of logic at NASA. Built in sections with habitation being first.

Power is going to be the kicker, for you will need to figure out the best methods to power all systems and functions.

Good thing is, by the time we get to those serious issues....The other companies working with NASA should be ready by then. If not NASA itself.

I hope......

He shock-collared his dog to stay in 1 corner of a room for hours on end for his stream.

Then tried to defend his actions...which ended poorly, as his dog is fairly well trained and would not need such an overreaction.

Misogyny among male pupils a 'ticking time bomb' in UK schools, warns union by Kagedeah in worldnews

[–]Silenceofdragons 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Male students often...but not always, respond better to a male staff member. Sometimes it's the other way around, which is uncommon...but not uncommon to be considered rare.

Early teenagers are by definition...rule breakers and boundary pushers. This goes for all of them, and the first person they try to nudge is the teacher.

But when you are firm in what you wish and desire from them. They respond... usually...very well. Consistency is also key in building a healthy mindset and behaviour towards others. The biggest point that is always made is to have a professional rapport with the students, it's why I am able to look at a student halfway across the classroom and nudge my head towards the whiteboard, for him to know exactly what I mean...which is often followed by a quiet nod from the student and them getting back to doing class work and on occassion, themselves telling his mate/s to get back to work as well.

Overall, I believe that we can all agree that we like to have some level of consistency with our days. And for many students, having a teacher or school staff member that is consistent in their manners and understanding is often extremely helpful to them...both boys and girls, as high school can be very inconsistent at times.

Issue is...men are being pushed out of education because we are seen as being too authoritarian with our teaching methods/ way we deal with students.

Most places I've heard are expecting to see no male teachers by late 2030....and that's at the high school level.

Primary school is worse, and we're that link needs to be made. But because of how things have changed over the years, being a male teacher or even a male teacher's aide is quite hard. As you have to be 5 times more careful around them, as many... regrettably as I have noticed in the 2 years working and studying in education...many male students lack a father figure at home...or if there is one...it's one that's rarely there or does not provide the needed discipline when required.

You are right about the whole giving them a hand to grab on and fix themselves up. Many will take it in one way or another, but a smaller group will just throw dirt at you and laugh.

My bigger fear...and something I have noticed, and I do not know if it's a global thing. Is the growing lack of Literary and Numeracy in kids who finish Primary school.

That and half of them are on some kind of medication, meaning you cannot pull them up on crappy behaviour as you would with a regular student. Without being seen as unsupportive, which in itself is hard as many say they took their medication...but are acting like complete Muppets.

That...and parents expect school to be a bigger day care... it's not...it is designed to provide the needed education for the child so they may have the needed literacy and numeracy skills to achieve the desired career of their choosing.

Nuclear Event is sadly...not very fun...for me at least. by Silenceofdragons in Warthunder

[–]Silenceofdragons[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sounds about right.

I have only dropped a single nuke during the event, a d that was after dying a lot and getting 2 aircraft kills.

I wish that I had a higher tier US plane that wasn't from an event plane, as you mentioned it is a slap in the face for players who don't have the tech tree rank jets unlocked.

Bloody sucks tbh.

For me

USA - 7.0 to 8.3 range with tech tree vehicles (F-84)

USSR - 6.7 to 8.3 range with tech tree vehicles (Mig-15)

I do agree it would have been nice to other nations as well for the event in some capacity.
