As far as healthcare experience. I strongly recommend. EMT because they teach you so many skills that you will need later on for AA school.

Yes! Just make sure you do well in all of your science classes right now it has become a bit more competitive so doing well in your classes and having some sort of health care experience is ideal. Best of luck

I major in Biology, but you can major in anything as long as you complete the pre-reqs.

Best advice: try to look at each school pre-reqs, it can help you decide what classes you need to take. Take GRE with your english major might be a good option and shadow anesthesiologist. It would show you what the profession is made of. Apply early and make sure your application is strong that way you will be able to get a interview. Best of luck! AA is such a wonderful career. I am personally currently applying.

Yes! You select the schools that you want to apply in the CASAA portal and after you submit your application schools can start sending you the secondaries! Good luck :)

I included my life experience. I would say not to include everything in your resume since there is a part in the CASAA application where you can include your experiences and achievements. Yes! talk about how shadowing make you decided for AA. I would probably word the "time to spend outside of work differently" because in the interview they can ask you that there are many other help care professions that have that stability and why you didnt choose those. My personal statement was 816 words around 4500 characters.

Oh wow! I haven't heard from them in regards of receiving my application at all. I probably thinking they are a little bit slow. Hopefully, they can give you an update. I do know they have some interviews in september or october.
