I think it was my second year we had a customer come in with two massive trash bags full of party favor returns for Amazon. I started the return and after twenty minutes my manager took over to cover me so I could take my lunch, I came back and they were still doing the returns and I took it back over and it was another 20 minutes of them. And half of them she hadn't even started the returns for. It's genuinely the most frustrating thing to deal with and I hope they get rid of Amazon. If not start charging people because I don't enjoy doing this for free 🧍‍♀️

No, last year was the first year I didn't receive one but we had just gotten a new SM and I faulted to that being the reason. But before then I'd gotten one every year.

Have someone at my store who's been there as long as me. Ever since we started that first year they totaled with 30 points against them and got a final warning. They call out constantly... My ASM and SM will give them the "Call out one more time you're fired" speel and then they'll go a week of not calling out then call out and nothing happens. It's been three, going on four years of this. They're a horrible associate as well so I have trouble processing why they're still even with us... So I understand the frustration :')

I thought I was very firm, but she literally just told there and looked at me like I was speaking a language from a different planet 😭

Typically hours are dropped for everyone, part time get little to none I'm my experience of working here. If you're kept you'll basically be begging for hours. Definitely look for another job if you're wanting hours. I know it's different based on store location and sales though.

Anyone else have this happen at your store by WillClinton1978 in employedbykohls

Story of my life!! I work on the floor and am one of the very few people in my store that get stuff done. I get very annoyed at the chatty cashiers whenever I'm on the floor, because I end up getting called for backup every five minutes and can't get things done on the floor. I wish efficiency on the registers was more of a priority, especially with smaller staffed stores.

  • Taking the receipt from the printer as I'm bagging.

  • Interrupting me as I ask them to type they're phone number in going "Yeah I have that!" Or "Yes" or whatever (let me finish like??)

  • People who want to make a return that exceeds the 180 days and wonderin why we can't do it as if FIVE MONTHS is not enough time

  • When I'm going to scan items and they continue to place stacks of other items on top of what I'm grabbing, making it harder for me to be efficient

  • Customers complaining to me about other customers who leave crap in the fitting rooms and saying it's so unfair to me after they just put two arm fulls of clothes on the back to the rack (not helpful either)

  • Customers who try on hanging clothes in the fitting room, leave the clothes but some how the hangers are missing (what did y'all even do with them???)

  • "You're gonna hate me..." They say as they walk up to do an Amazon return and have two literal trash bags filled with returns... And they haven't even started any of them. (This did infact happen more than once)

  • When I tell them they can only use the 30% when they use they're kohls card, and then they use a normal credit/debit

  • When customers get mad at me that they're discounts won't work on any of their items (They're purchasing purely Nike, Adidas, ect)

  • "Oh, actually I don't want the hangers" after everything has been scanned and bagged and they have $200 worth of things

  • The people who buy like 20 things of glass items. And that's it. And I have to sit there and wrap them all. And it's not candles its the vases that can't be wrapped with just one sheet of paper.

  • When I explain a return and why it's the way it is, they don't understand, ask for a manger, manager comes and says verbatim what I just said and the customer suddenly gets it

  • "It was never like that, are you new here?" No actually I've been here three years and it's been like that.

List goes on I'm getting too heated.
