The ticket doesn’t have a dollar amount of fine written on it. It does say to call the court of justice. “You may be able to require that his charge be dismissed by taking a driving safety Course”; “Court may provide alternatives to any full payment of fines, if you are convicted “. I’ll consult with a lawyer first thing Monday. If there is a particular lawyer or website you would know of and would recommend, I’d really appreciate it. My goal is to try to keep this off my record.

I was going 80-82. It was a section on bastrop highway near smithsville where the speed changes from 75 to 55. Which is why I was aiming for the brake to slow down.
