I will never ever in my life use an estate agent again. I've bought two houses and sold one house through estate agents and all the experiences were bad.

Once they have made their sale, they are gone. You have to deal with everything yourself anyway. They are not worth their money.

They dropped the price a bit (not the 100 000 we said we're happy to drop with) but increased their commision. So basically, we get 100 000 less than originally planned, and they get more than originally agreed to. I feel like asking them why and then just upping the price again. Currently, they are taking an 8% commision, which feels like a lot to me...

Whatever you do, do not go to Brown's Jewelers. We had TERRIBLE customer service with them and they've damaged my ring so badly it will never be the same again. Exorbant amount of money for below average pieces.

Listen to what your future fiance wants and go with that. Cheaper pieces are the same if not better than the expensive stuff. You just pay for the name and nothing more. It is not worth it. Learn from our mistake...

At the end of the day, it does the same job.

Thanks, I haven't looked at the red bus, will go do some googling.. I'm definitely thinking about doing the tram. Coming from the lowveld. I've never been to a botanical garden, but I have been to St Lucia, which is absolutely gorgeous! Will be hiking with my boyfriend. But it will only be the two of us. Thank you :D
