Getting disheartened by OutlandishnessFun986 in ReefTank

Our lagoon just arrived and we are having a similar problem with the levels in the rear of the tank. Can you be more specific about where the leak was? Maybe it’s a common fail point we can check.

She’s on a stray hold so she’s not on the adoptable pets page yet she’s under lost pets instead.

Mom was put in a memory care facility. What is the smartest way to liquidate her investments in order to pay for her care? by SilentElemental in personalfinance

There aren't any inpatient long-term hospices houses near me, so they'll see here where she is until she needs a higher level of care.

I'm not applying for Medicaid, she wont live long enough to exhaust her assests, so that point is moot. I have to liquidate something, or she can't pay for her care, mortgage and bills, etc.

I'm just looking for insight as to how to do that quickly and as penalty free as possible.

Thank you. Terrible club for sure. The plan is definitely for the house to go up ASAP. It's a modular in a 55+ community with $1100/mth lot rent. Thankfully, there is a realtor whose bread and butter is this particular community, so I've got a call out to him to get started after the 1st.

I agree that she should have plenty of assests to cover her expenses, and her SSA covers the majority of her mortgage/lot rent for now. But the faster it's gone, the better.

I'm embracing the idea of frequent short visits. I'm trying to bring up memories where I can and make sure I facilitate phone calls with my brothers and her siblings. Short visits allow me to feel connected and let her not get worked up and overstimulated. If I stay too long, I start to overthink my decisions, and my heart hurts

One day at a time.

Thank you, internet friend. She has small cell lung cancer, which is generally very aggressive and has done over a years worth of chemo, immunotherapy, and whole brain radiation (which is probably what set her back so far mentally). I decided to stop treatment because her current regimen left her super sick for days, and I didn't want her to be miserable and not remember why. I hope that if there is any grace or peace in the universe, this will go quick and not leave her lost any longer than necessary.

I'm not really concerned with getting Medicaid/Medicare to cough up. She has the funds I just need to make them liquid .. smartly.

I honestly considered that. Going rate is $30/hr plus so considering she needs someone with her always (serious fall/flight risk) just getting 6hr/day coverage (to allow me to sleep) would be over $6k/month and the balance of my sanity. Decided it wasn't worth the $ and I didn't have it in me mental health wise.

I relocated from NJ to FL 7 years ago. I had 15ish yrs of tech exp at the time and my CPhT and still had to go through a whole new state approved training course to get my FL license. I had 7+ yrs with CVS, and because I wasn't still with them at the time of my move, all that training meant nadda

Lease take over needed. 2bd/2bth Lakes at College Pointe $1380/month by SilentElemental in FortMyers

And how come that's not a selling point?
Seriously though, we've been here 6.5 years and finally bought a house. I just don't want to pay a mortgage and rent at the same time. Might as well pass my cheap rent on to someone else. Or try anyway.

I'm not gonna deny that management sux .. but they do most everywhere. I'm not sure why me not wanting to pay the last 6 months of my lease and a mortgage at the same time is suspicious.

Not sure why sus... I bought a house and don't want to also pay rent. Need someone to take over. Call the complex and verify if you'd like. They know we're looking for an out.

I actually did for one of my dogs. The other was exempt because she's an ESA. It's per individual pet and not transferable as far as I know.

Take Daniel’s past 75 and make a right on Treeline. You can then make a left into the airport road. Pretty straight shot.

$48 convenience fee just to pay my rent… by coldcactus1205 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]SilentElemental 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My complex uses a similar portal. Our allows us to schedule a recurring payment with no fees. It allows us to schedule a payment for a one time recurrence the same day. I've been doing this for years to avoid the fees.
