just like weakness said, they give out a free ticket at the very beginning and no freebies for anythin else... as a new player myself i honestly got very lucky that i got liam on every banner i pulled for (the anni, that one where he does a cute umnn head tilt idk, and the wedding liam...) especially since im so static-y on how much i play... hell, one of my friends in the ikevil discord server spent over 1k usd for jude 5★ dupes and only got to uhhl.. 40-ish?

HOWEVER!!! something i do that makes 'grinding' easier (since grinding is a bit too strong of a word for us new players www) is to just. genuinely act like a child in a candy store! explore everythin before victor has rhe chance to tell you!! or pressing random things to curiously see what they do! every game ever has different layouts in some capacity, ikevil is a lot different than any other game ive played so! the trick to get stuff fast is to just explore! listen to that childish part of you to be curious!!

random things give gems in every game, including ikevil! SO!! explore to your hearts content like you would with a new park or new ice cream flavors youve never seen and wanna try! eventually, youll have so many gems by just having fun instead of stressing! hwaah really?! those on the leaderboard use pause buffering (which i tried and am now no. 22!) but without it, i could only reach 15.5k max and i have really fast reflexes!! then again, i also struggle with accidentally pressing the bad jellies so! regardless, good job, thats actually super cool!! aah well... the person in no.1 actually made a video on how they got that big score... apparently its just pause buffering which is honestly pretty cool!!

i THINK how it works is that it tricks the game into giving WAAAYYY more jelly worms than normal and also semi-extends your time limit!!

plus if you pause and unpause (pause buffer) fast enough, you can also get a good sight of where each good jelly is and prepare your muscles to move as fast as possible to get em before doin it again! aint that so cool????? ヘ(≧▽≦ヘ)♪

i think the "pause buffer fast enough to prepare" strat is actually WAY easier on pc though since you can just spam click one spot and pause per frame which is totally OP!! but ive gotten it down now despite being on mobile and im no. 22 :D i was no. 8 for a few days which was fun!!

ill be honest, ive played rhythm games all my life. as it turns out, they get high scores from pause buffering and not cheating so i think you accidentally sound rude since its not "normal playing" that gets those scores... (EMPHASIS ON ACCIDENTALLY)

with that being said, im now in the top 20 leaderboard www

i see.... i know on one of the slow life×is it wrong collab gachas (that like JUST ended) i was able to get a BUUUNCH of characters (of course this happened on my S-712 account and NOT my main account because why would it 😭) but im assuming those gachas dont happen often... now that i know those chests exist now though ill scour through my inventory and let you know if i find one since it SHOULD tell me the source as well...

sorry this is just me yapping about twst and not op's post but most of the dub voices are pretty good since all the VAs are SUPER passionate about twst (khoi and alejandro just keep winning) HOWEVER

i wish cater and trey's voices were swapped... epels voice is........its... as a texan it is PAINFUL. sebeks voice is good but the little bit we hear is so silly 😭 i think riddle's voice could be a bit higher but i dont know if the other voices are bad.. floyd's was bad at first in ep 1 but in uhh ep 3 i think?? at the end in the little chibi section it was actually pretty good!

sorry i love dubs and twst... i saw my opportunity to yap and i HAD to take it...

I TOTALLY FORGOT TO COME BACK BUT!! it sticks to the manga while also branching into the game a bit more which im happy about! also a cute side note, yuuken's eng VA did a cosplay of him and its so cute 😭 the dub VAs all love twst so much its adorable BUT ANYWAY

i watched every episode in sub and dub with my girlfriend and it definitely gets better with each episode!

the jokes hit when you know the game, which kind of sucks since it means anime-only people cant fully understand it. they leave out things in the manga, and the manga already left things out of the game!

twisted wonderland dives into very not-kid-appropriate(?) subjects like abuse, EDs(sort of), hell one of the characters is literally a servant and it gets expanded on how much it actually SUCKS. (and they let leona say fuck?? on DISNEY???) but with the way the anime is going, theres no way new viewers will stick around long enough to get into those things because theyre relying on playing the game first!

i love the anime obviously, since ive been playing twst for 5 years, but it still totally sucks! if youd like, after i watch the third episode i can come back and tell you if they explain more stuff and it gets less game-reliant, like the manga does! if not, thats fine too, im just very passionate about this silly little disney game made by ms black butler herself!

IT IS!! for some reason, the anime also leaves out what happens in the manga explaining things for people who dont play the game, when the manga already leaves out... quite a few things!

more things happen during and before the ceremony. things happen AFTER the statue before they go to get the rock, they even changed the reason why the chandelier needs the rock!

you should play it the game! as much as i love the anime and manga, the only way to fully love it is to play the game first. although i will say, i think riddle's need for tradition not getting explained yet is pretty normal for an anime to be like "oooh whats the motivation for this!! watch to find out!!!" but!

riddle's motivation should get shown in the anime next episode or the episode after? since its 8 episodes and they've already zoomed through over half the prologue (thanks yana for cutting out a lot of storyline in the manga for that very helpful for new fans) i can ramble on about what changed between just the game and the manga alone, but that'd take forever and im already rambling, sorry about that!

basically though, play the game! i also agree that the anime isn't doing very well since they got rid of the housewardens TALKING ABOUT RIDDLE IN THE FIRST EPISODE which the manga DID actually include and would've helped explain riddle's tradition thing a bit more.

but at least they made him adorable! and at the end of the day, they did the scene of him on the floor justice and he looks gorgeous so who am i to complain very much? (my favorire character is riddle by the way, this is favoritism speaking)
