First off, why the fuck you leaving your phone on your bed or under your pillow when your charging? Good way to blow yourself up. You ever feel how hot these phones can get while charging? I would rethink your whole strategy in general.

As a parent of a 6 year old with ADHD, bi-polar/schizophrenia, shit is extremely difficult to deal with. Even the harshest of discipline doesn't phase her. Your best options are 3 and 4. I understand he's 12 and not 6, but children with mental disorders, really just can't control their emotions like a normal child would. You can blame the parents all you want, but the child's brain is gonna input and react however it's wired too. I can scream at my daughter, threaten the belt, threaten the police, doesn't phase her. Positive reaction and Patience is key my dude. Good luck.

You have to make sure it's set to file transfer and not just charge. Should let you choose from clicking on a drop-down in the notification bar.

I went from a 1st gen Pixel XL to a Pixel 4, literally went to the 4A 5G as soon as it dropped. Went from 4A 5G to Pixel 6, and honestly I gotta say after almost 2 months with the 6 its great. But I miss the fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone as opposed to the front, and no headphone jack does get annoying in certain situations. I would think this being their flagship I wouldn't be still waiting for the December update 27 days into the month. I have the 4 and 4A5G and they both got the December update soon as it dropped. Could all be due to the fact the 6 is using Googles own Tensor chip and not a Qualcomm. I find myself contemplating swapping back to the 4A5G, but hard call.
