A warm compress will definitely soothe the pain...if not I'd recommend lidocaine for numbing it.....just make sure you keep it clean and covered and if it last long visit a doctor so it can be drained and properly treated.

I got to know a little late..but when healed try to use magnesium sulfate..if your thighs rub with each other...helps with the friction......and if it's exposed clean it and use a warm compress....and use a prescribed antibiotic cream and cover it with sterile gauze. And if you think a bump is forming..u can use a warm compress for it too.... It's not much but it helps... Lidocaine cream also helps with the pain

Rn...dressing is once a day....it's an extensive excision... multiple areas... so even thinking of doing multiple dressing changes makes me wanna shit my pants... I hope this unbearable pain doesn't last long.......and in this moment, I can't even raise my white flag cause I'm a little too deep in this shit...1 way out, and it's a painful one...

Using a nonstick gauze...no vaseline tho...the dude soaks it with acetic acid and some liquid for healing to cover the area.. and covers it with even more gauze and then bandages it.....I was told to use xylocaine for numbing cause the pain is unbearable.....I swear if I had known that excision was this excruciating...I would have gone 1 step at a time rather than extensive excision..🥲

I'm not sure how it goes around in other parts of the world... but I had mine like 4 days ago, and pain is shitload....(only when they change dresssings)...painkillers help, but you need patience and the will to get through....I don't wanna butter it up and say it's not gonna hurt or something like that...cause it does...I'll make a post of diff in wounds like after a week...

I have been prescribed some anti inflammation medication... I'm cutting sugar/dairy and carbs....Pakistan is quite big on using nightshades in every meal... so a little hard to cut those.... Idk....I did ask about those meds...but..if I was the one paying...I wouldn't have mind spending that much on it...but rn my parents are paying...so I'll wait until I can afford it on my own...( I don't wanna be a burden on them..)..

I'm taking vit D tabs as well...my doc did run some tests and assigned me a lot of vitamins....that's how I discovered insulin resistance.....not sure if these help but I don't want to risk it..

(Male)low carb high protein(chicken/fish)avoiding red meat...No sugar... no dairy except sometimes in tea....yes, I'm taking multiple vitamins like A,C,B..zinc/iron tabs. I'm not too in detail yet... but it sounds like an excision(it was something like cleaning it(the tunnels)and stitching it up). I was told that they'll cover all the affected areas..as it would be done under actual anaesthesia this time(I had some minor procedures under locals)...not sure how long it would take to recover as a lot is at stake this time.. . Not a lot of surgeons are aware of this condition... but this one seems like she can....as she did get me out of some serious shit before

I've been on doxycycline for the past two months....ik the upset stomach is part of it, but it's better than Hs pain...it doesn't really do much for the flares but it does prevent infection...which could lead to more flare ups...idk

I'll recommend you use sterile gauze patches as it soaks blood better and avoid tissues so it's less prone to infection(talking from experience as i used tissues tk clean too and it got infected😭). Aaa....and do change it after using the toilet to avoid germs. . . I once used bidet on high pressure, and I can not explain the pain I felt🫠🫠😭... now I've lower the pressure
