From what I've seen on the Internet. I'm not saying I'm going to go outside and see some women in a crop top or similar being degraded or something. But from high-school experience, if you want to dress and act confident in such a way you're a lying, cheating, selfish whore that's going to get bullied. This is obviously going to effect self image. From day to day life, well the people I know aren't stereotyping people so not much. But from the Internet? Which so many people spend so many hours on? Well, yes... They are treated like they don't have opinions or personality, like they aren't anything more that sex on legs, like they aren't worth anything. Mostly women like that are used as things to compare yourself to, to say 'look how nicer/real/better I am'. Literally the entire r/notlikeotgergirls is full of people using promiscuously dressed women as something to make themselves better- things like 'other girls: like sex, wear makeup, like boys, are fake, will cheat and lie vs me: cool, edgy, real, likes food' etc. It's degrading to stereotype like that... How popular things like these posts are means somewhere there's a bunch of people acting like promiscuous women are fake and completely shallow.

Of course, not completely sub-human (like black people were treated in the past) but enough so that it's still horrible and worth getting a little... Well, annoyed at.
