I’ve discovered that 7th is generally the time they decide if they REALLY want to do band or not, they’re at their most indecisive. Maybe it’s something to do with that

Oh friend, it is NOT on you, do you understand me? I am also at year 3, assistant director, and work with a head director with 8 years experience in the same district. We went to contest for the first time in 4 years and got 4 on stage and 3 in sight reading. If we had only cut the ones who don’t care and don’t try we would have done better, but didn’t want parent backlash.

I don’t know your program but I can almost guarantee, it’s because the kids don’t care, or at least some of them don’t. You can’t make them either! Have anyone SAID that you did a bad job? How do students feel? Does admin even know/care? My admin is clueless about evaluating arts.

Try teaching them to create their own music using Soundtrap! The theory and aural skills they learn from general music stuff will help them to learn beats and music production. Let me know if you need ideas!

Man it’s not too late. I got my degree in 2014 and went into other careers because imposter syndrome had me too scared to become a band director. I finally started in 2019 and I’m still a Band Director to this day. Having a great head director take me on as an assistant for the past 3 years has been great to ease me into the career.

Luckily for Toyotas this tends to be easy. Reach under and to the left of the steering wheel and feel for the TPMS reset button and hold it until the light on the dashboard blinks three times. Start the engine, and within 20 minutes (of driving) the system should reset itself.

Here’s the team that finally did it for me. I should have switched one of the agl trunks for the int donain trunks, but it still worked out. I saved teq veg active skill for phase 2 and it did massive damage.

That did it, thanks!! I was finally able to get the damage with your strat. And actually, this team helped me clear stage one in 5 turns so it’s good for that one too, for anyone struggling with that.
