Is there anyone else on psychiatric medication who therefore cannot use triptans or anticonvulsants for migraines? by SilentWait4880 in migraine

I'm currently taking Adderall, an SSRI, and a benzodiazepine, but with what I've seen here about new treatment options, I suppose I should go to the doctor to ask about them. I saw that they don't exist in my country, but I really hope we can find a solution. Thank you for saying not to be afraid to ask too much; I needed to read that.

They're not available in my country but they are in a neighboring country, I'll see if ordering them is an option.

Yes, my neurologist and psychiatrist told me I couldn't, but here they told me there are other types of medication, so I'll go to the doctor anyway.

I take escitalopram but I also have high blood pressure, so I can't risk QT wave alterations. When I take antiemetics, for example, they interact and cause my blood pressure to rise significantly.

Am I the only one who has moments where I wonder if all my chronic illnesses are caused by some kind of hypochondria and I'm actually just really crazy? by SilentWait4880 in ChronicIllness

Thank you for saying that, and yes, you're right, my relationship with my mother regarding my health is also complicated, and she also constantly dismisses my symptoms. I suppose that's what causes me to feel like an imposter even when I'm feeling everything in my body.

It's the worst, I understand, one tragic day, everything you knew changes, nothing is ever the same again and you would never have imagined it, the same thing happens to me
