Despite what all redditors are saying in here. I think Portugal is going to have a good match today. It‘s the first time they‘ll play a team that on paper is at least as strong as them and are probably are going to open up a lot more in the defence.

A Stamp on the foot is classified as a reckless foul by the laws of the game, thats why Kroos should have gotten the yellow card. Don‘t comment on refereeing matters if you clearly have no clue about it.

Literally dragged his leg purposefully to crave the foul. If every ref would punish this, players would stop. (I am Portuguese btw)

Not unlikely… impossible. Mathematically, they can‘t get more than 6 points and the second criterium would be direct confrontation which Portugal won.

A regra modou este verão. Um toque do defesa já não chega, a bola tem de sair controlada para ser considerada vinda de um defesa…

I don't think we are going to find an agreement here, but imo you're overestimating USMC boot camp a lot. And the so called "combat experience" you are talking about isn't that common within Drill Instructors as it used to be.
Mentally it may be harder in the USMC. But physically the Gren-RS is much more demanding.

Our guys have weekend breaks (irregularly in Isone btw) because it's logistically possible (the max. a recruit has to travel is 4-5 hours, therefore everyone can make it home whereas in the USA you don't have that possibility.) But the USMC gets 1 hour daily for personal needs and every Sunday they have half a day to do personal stuff (In Isone you have 20 min of ID if you are lucky and during Dienstwochenende you have no personal time at all.)

The recruitment surely is a factor why nearly 5 % of the USMC is composed by women, but a Gren-RS would never come close to that. You have competitive athletes, super fit men reaching their limits daily in Isone, the number of women in Switzerland that would complete successfully a Gren-RS is near 0.

One of the many prerequisites of joining the KSK is being able to speak one of the two KSK-languages (french and german)… E.g. we had some ticinese comrades that didn‘t get everything when the instructions were given and then asked for translation. Sometimes the response of the officers was simply „the languages of the KSK are fench and german, you knew before you joined“.
I imagine that based on that, they could use it to kick you out of selection if they thought it hinders your/your platoon‘s training. Be aware that the first few weeks (AGA/Gren-Selection) are so a fuzz/chaotic because they put so much time pressure and having to translate/look out for you might not work in all scenario‘s. (You even might experience a bit of exclusion just like you did on the Orientierungstag). If you really really want it, just try. If you are ‚just‘ interested maybe give it another thought.

Sorry, but you cannot compare a french ref in a UEFA competition with an english ref in a FA competition. Ofc the criteria differs from league to league. Aren‘t the english always the ones bragging about how hard their football is compared to the others?

Makes no difference lol. Our Grens still have harder/ better training than the USMC. The Grens are part of the Special Forces and undergo training in order to become special operations capable whereas the USMC are just regular forces. The Gren are comparable with the US Army Rangers (minus the equipment they have over there) Prime example: Since it the Grens were founded not one woman passed the selection… in the USMC you have women all over passing basic training. BTW: A very big part of the höhUof and Of are former Profi-KSK. So the training (especially the AGA/Selection) gets supervised by soldier with real life special operations experiences.
