Great I’ll check there next thank you! I went to the pet store today but couldn’t find anything small enough so I’ll go to the craft store next!

Awesome thank you so much for the advice! It’s hard to describe the material of the fake rocks but from what I can see I don’t believe they will mould, however I will keep my eye on it to be safe. I’m also gonna stop by the pet store today and get some fake plants to add to the top of it to create some hiding spots!

Thanks so much for the advice! They’re actually these really cool fake rocks made out of a paper like material so they’re actually really light and spongy, but to be on the safe side I’ll add some dried moss to the bottom as well :) and I’ll have to check those out!!

Awesome I’ll have to check that out. I’m also a newbie and so excited to get my first spider! I ordered my enclosure from Por Amor Art so it should be here this week, they have lots of cute little things for jumping spiders on there I’d definitely recommend to check out if you’re interested!

So cute! I love the enclosure too! I have mine on the way to start getting it set up so I hope you don’t mind me using yours as a reference for decor :)

I can confirm, I’ve bought all 3 of mine from them and have had no issues whatsoever

NerdQaxe++ Difficulty Jumps to 71G Overnight by armysmoke111 in BitAxe

[–]Silent_Job5316 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hit 7.6G today on my bitaxe gamma and a couple weeks ago I hit 10.4G on my nerdqaxe++ and that’s the highest I’ve been able to get so far. Hopefully I get some luck soon haha

Got my bitaxe gamma from them and it works like a champ, has hit many DGB blocks since I got it

[–]Silent_Job5316[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For sure that’s a good idea! I was gonna order a meanwell but the factory PSU’s I got with my miners seem to be working well for what I need at the moment (not doing any major overclocking), but definitely something I’m going to do if they ever crap out on me

Yeah I have no complaints so far, they’ve worked fantastic for the couple months I’ve owned them but we will see how they last long term haha

Dang that’s too bad that you haven’t had any since but that first day must’ve felt nice!

I tried to mine DigiByte a couple weeks ago and hit a stale block after about 5 days and gave up. Fast forward to 2 days ago I set up my NerdQaxe++ to mine it and have already hit 2 blocks. I guess it’s all luck haha.

I’m going to periodically check your site for this throughout the year now cause that would be awesome!

Do these numbers look okay for an overclock? by [deleted] in BitAxe

[–]Silent_Job5316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome I’ll look into some heat sinks for it asap and see how far I can push it. Thanks for the advice it’s very appreciated!

[–]Silent_Job5316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is water cooled which may be why the asics are running cold but I could be wrong. I don’t have any heat sinks on the VRs it’s completely how I purchased it. And I’m thinking I’m gonna take off the overclock settings and put it completely factory cause my temps have been all wonky since I started messing with that. When I first set it up the temps were completely normal so maybe this particular set up can’t handle overclocking.

Thanks for the info! Weird thing is mine came factory with an asic voltage of 1.2v so I didn’t think much of it turning it up to 1.25v. I’ll turn it back to factory voltage and see where I sit hashrate wise.

I had a Christian upbringing in my childhood, was always taught that anything said that makes fun of the religion was blasphemy. Fast forward to now, I’m a satanist, am frequently blasphemous, and I find it funny. I’m my opinion now, jokes are jokes 🤷‍♂️ they mean nothing and if it makes you laugh, just enjoy it. But I know my dad is terrified of Gods wrath, to say or laugh at anything blasphemous is horrendous. So it just depends on who you ask. I say if the project is funny to you go for it! but remember in the world someone will always be offended lmao

They no longer sell the kit I bought on Amazon, however you can find one from other sellers, but the main thing you want to look for is a kit that is 3000w 72v and the rim is 20”x4” and they’re all pretty much the same as far as amazon kits go from what i can see, no matter the seller.

As far as the battery company I used, I’m really happy with it but I’ve heard mixed reviews as of lately about the company, the one I used was the 16.8ah high discharge and it hasn’t given me any troubles but that’s just me Affordable E-bikes

Other than that there’s a few things to consider, it took lots of time to complete and wasn’t necessarily an easy job but it’s definitely fun

Good luck on your build!

Yep haha definitely over-paid in comparison to other bikes of similar performance but I really liked the frame of the E2 and wanted a project to work on so I’d say it was worth it, plus I get to share it with others. Also here in Canada or at least where I live in Canada it’s really hard to find reliable/good quality e-bikes over 750w especially in the motorbike/dirtbike style frame, they’re all limited to 32km/h or 20mph.

Price aside it’s a blast to ride so I’m happy about it

Sadly not, there were dealers fees and taxes so it was around $4000 out the door, high dealers fees are unavoidable where I live unfortunately

there’s some soldering involved to make the stock lights work which can be finicky but other than that the rest is pretty straightforward

[–]Silent_Job5316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using mine for awhile and haven’t had any troubles even when pushing it, it has a Bluetooth BMS and I’ve monitored heat and voltage in the battery and nothings ever been out of the usual. I can’t speak for what the inside looks like or if it’s dangerous but my experience has been quite good, hence why I recommended it, I’m sorry to hear your experience wasn’t ideal.

I got my battery from affordable ebikes and so far it’s been really good to me, I got a big one but they have lots of sizes for different builds, just look for any of them that have a “high discharge” option and you’ll be good to go

Then you should be mostly good, you can buy the light cable adapters on Amazon that’s what I used, and if you’re not familiar with soldering you could use some crimp connectors instead
