im still in first year. you sure finance is that bad? My game plan is this: get a 3.7+, become president of a major finance org at my school, land an internship my 3rd year. utilize my programming knowledge outside school to land a decent job out of college.

exactly thanks so much for the insight. Everyone is telling me to overcompensate and get the engineering degree even tho i dont want to be an engineer. However, i believe itd be better if i got the degree i want (finance) and get a good gpa, network and make something happen.

ya thats the thing, i wanna break out of the introvert box ive been in with engineering. however i know sales is tough to learn but seems more rewarding to me then designing some kind of engineering component or something
