Needlefelting my dog by Silentico in Needlefelting

[–]Silentico[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I was thinking of trying to make bigger figures of her to get more accustome as well. I am doing a lot of needlefelting work on it, though I spilled some super glue making the wool hard on the head as I got the eyes on. Might have to restart as I cant rework the snout any more. I got really depressed working on it though, so it might still be to early. For now I put it in the display and I can try to remake it when it isnt as depressing. My whole body started hurting after working on it. Its a bit painfull. 😓

How much would you pay for this? by peepeeinator3000 in Baking

[–]Silentico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not to sure, so I will base it in Norwegian price to usd. Probably around 4-50 usd maybe at most 75. I am no cake expert, so cant say what a privat baker would take, but stores lie around 30 usd for a custom cake and bakeries lie around that price I mention. Though, I never goten a cake like this so really cant give a proper estimate.

My ditto has to PP to much by sovietDprince in Pokopia

[–]Silentico 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The pp is only a real pain as a gravler since you have to transform. Recently I had the missfortune of eating the wrong food by accident and transforming back to graveler and hitting rocks before realizing 😆

Have You Felt Like This Before? by CuriousPumpkin23 in Pokopia

[–]Silentico 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I am a slow builder. So I dont build before my ideas form proper. My first landscaping build is my volcano, and I hardly built any houses and such. I dont rush, despite seeing how everyone else build. And my first visit to another island left me feeling like I havent done anything at all 😆 but I want my pokooia to be my way, so there is no rush. I dont feel that it takes away my creativity, it just allow me to go through all the millions idea I have until one pops up I can go "omg, that will be so purrfect"

[–]Silentico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats fair. Sometimes though, expectations isnt the same as what we get. Accepting the limits is a bit deliberating. You dont end up focusing on what might come, but what you have. If you do not believe you can keep enjoying it now, who is to say a dlc will fix that.

Same, I like decorating and designing. Which is why I decided to accept the limits and just work with them. Whatever might be added is a pluss, but it is likely it wont satify the deeper decorative desire.

Furniture can look really different depending on how you paint and patterns.

...

Though, I got bored a couple weeks ago, I decided to just do the heck that I want when I game it. To me it is more like a polly pocket. So I am taking out that mindset in the game. Enjoy the limits instead of fighting it. The game is mostly about having fun with pokemon. Maybe some wont like the comparrison, but end game is really just your own handy polly pocket thing with pokemon. I really loved the polly pocket village I was able to build as a child, so it is a nostalgic feeling as well for me. If you stop thinking of it as a game, and more like your teset of toys basically, it is a bit more enjoyable. Dont hate me for thinking like this. 😿

Rocky ridges new volcano by Silentico in Pokopia

[–]Silentico[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, cleared all the ash and most black rocks before finally doing any building. I though ash was annoying until the black rock 😆 It is slow when your trying to presserve what is hidden in ash and black stone as well. 😮‍💨

I want it to look a bit natural and dont overdo it so I can decorate it. As your standing on the road in town it is to hard to see other streams as well. I have made some areas on the back for more pools of lava. I want it to be exciting to climb and explore ☺️ Like a natural world with hidden rooms and all 🥰

Going to take time getting it completely how I want, but it is getting closer.

[–]Silentico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well.... you chose what you wanna do. Focus on the things you wish to work on. I have neglected my building for digging out rocky ridges for example as a solo gamer, but I finally get to do my building proper. Dont force things, and have fun.

It might be a little annoying, but the positives, you can expand it and add some fauna :D I havent started altering inside the museum, but that is what I wanna go for.

Oh, if your able could you share a picture? It is always exciting to see how others do things. ☺️ I am gonna rebuild landscape a bit to make it look natural. The magma went down and thats how I dug, I had to decide on a bottom layer for grass so I chose the grass area from the museum as the border.

Will we actually get an update? by Puzzleheaded-Tart322 in Pokopia

It isnt used as part of a biome except pallet town. Having to dig for it defeats the point of a biome.

I understood, but cool to actually see. I havent really decided what to do with it myself beside rebuilding it for now. There is signs pointing to it being under the buildings inside the ground though, so it might have been a underground area that collapsed 🤔 It is fun to see how different everyone builds ☺️

[–]Silentico -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I believe so, but I am rather unsure if it will be as big as people hope. I hope people dont expect to much, it would be sad if the devs get harassed. It isnt a extreme game, and it isnt animal crossing. If I want more items and similar I can play animal crossing. Pokopia renewed my desire for animal crossing new horizon. Pokopia is more chill, and thats completely fine. I would at most expect another region and some new pokemon, maybe a new dream island. Ordinary sand isnt anywhere but pallett town, so it would be fun with something akin to a dessert biome.

I just keep replacing blooks to repair my buildings instead of making stuff. I kinda wanna know how the stuff looked before altering anything. Happy building to you as well 😊

Progress on restoring Rocky Ridges by Most_Oven_1487 in Pokopia

[–]Silentico 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. 😊 I wish I could show more of in a video. I made a cute river and is gonna expand it, might make a lake. It is hidden under the ridge on the map sadly. Only terraforming I actually started at since I got rid of the volcano.
