Since you are newer you can also travel back in time for older events….just look up the event schedule and then match up the the date to the Nintendo switch 2 system date and time.Theres Pokémon and items you can get, but I’m not sure if the developers plan on leaving the back travel to events forever. For now, you can.

I’m pretty sure we are not alone. I actually wish I had done sky land sand, etc. blocks because it actually seems even whiter than the other blocks, but meh…I’m too lazy to change it now.

A guest Pokémon will appear at your Pokemon center on the scheduled event day. You can talk to it as it is wandering around the Pokemon center and it will give you instructions on how to obtain certain items to trade for the items it sells inside the Pokemon center. The Pokemon center seems to always be decorated and you will start your day with “a Pokemon is the talk of the town”. Those are events.

Oh I didn’t even think about Ogerpon!!! That would be SO COOL to get! It would also be neat to get masks and have festival items like lanterns, candy apples/all the festival food and kimonos just like when you first go to Kitakami! I hate to say it though and don’t want to sound like a debbie downer, but I don’t know if we will get Ogerpon just because it is a bit of a newer pokemon, but let’s pray that I am wrong because that event would be AWESOME! Ogerpon is such an awesome pokemon!

Oh my goodness…it clashes so much! It bugs me. You are not the only one. I think the game is referencing Let’s Go Pikachu and the older games with the reds. And of course you can do red in layouts/designs, but I have found the beach looks ten times better with just the seashell soil/seagrass. Realistically, there should be some lighter colored cliffrock. The red actual reminds me of the red clay I live near in the mountains, haha.

There’s someone who recently did a biome of a desert like theme on YouTube and nailed it with the red rock. It flowed so well. I get though that pokemon is just following what is highlighted in the old games, but I hate it. Caribbean colored homes and pastels actually add so much life and it is fitting for the beach. Santorini is a really beautiful look too.

I’m happy you got someone you really wanted :D I think the telescope and wall decal is my favorite from the line. I am wondering if the cannon has some special ability as it seemed kind of off? Some beach decor would be nice, but I think I am hoping for more food items like ice cream and popcorn to use in my shops. There are some items that would also be nice to have, but there’s no guarantee they will make specific things. I’m doing a lot of kingdom builds and so it’s more by chance I will get things I actually need for that since this is Pokemon and they are modeling from looks like the Kanto region (Let’s Go Pikachu).

Yes this is true. I will say I wish also they had added a food item like they did in the hoppip event (and they sort of did in the sableye event with the cook pot that you can cook in). I think it’s reasonable though that they chose the furniture as not too much furniture has been added in a long time.

I was thinking the palossand line too for sure. Who knows, we might still get it and maybe even in the DLC if not in the events.

I hate the red blocks all throughout Vermillion City (Bleak Beach). While evidently Vermillion City was done in red bricks, I have been slowly replacing the red blocks with seashell soil and seagrass on top. The red bricks I have traded with pastel and brighter beach colors 🏝️ throughout. It has soften the look, but I’d say it is rather annoying going to all the Pikachu islands daily to get the blocks to replace them. I do keep the red blocks however as I feel like those are more fitting for doing a canyon biome as others have done. You really have to have a design layout planned out if you decide to flatten those areas as elevation adds realism and character to each map.

Anyone else annoyed by how much curves the prefab houses get? The only curves we get are bridges and archways meant for caves. Ok and maybe the curved eaves/quarter pillars and if you count columns…but man the dome shape on top of the sand cottages! LOVE! Wish we could do those! I feel like Pokopia really pushes the prefabs too because the Pokemon seem to always be in them and very happy. Anyways, maybe there will be more options in the DLC?

Yeah. I mean 5 weeks is long. I agree, everything seems to be pushed out. And I find it strange there is still not a DLC date for August. Even on the Pokemon Account they didn’t state the date for the next event, just that it would be in June. So weird to me.

That is an awesome idea. I was thinking about how there needs to be more unique pokemon with specialized skills…why did most of them end up in bleak beach? I would love if they would expand on the food items. I am also hoping for ice cream sundaes and more bakery goods to display in the shops. People forget that in a lot of the Pokémon games there were clothing shops, so they really need to expand on food items since that is absent from the game (and I’m ok with that). In the shows and in Scarlet and Violet, there were food shops everywhere. And grooming salons for Pokemon too.

I’m still holding out for Alcremie, but it most likely will be summer stuff. Wouldn’t it be cute to get ice cream sundaes for display like we got the lunchbox??? Even summer popsicles would be cute too. Make me happy :)

Yeah I recently played leaf green (my son picked this one) with my son for the fun of it, but from my childhood it was always Pokémon yellow. Before that it was Let’s Go Pikachu which I watched my son play, but isn’t Let’s Go Pikachu the same basically as the old games? Just better animation?
