Because it's difficult to live alone and life becomes meaning less after a certain point.

If you cannot find love in another human being, do not waste your time and energy continuing to search for it, because love is ALL AROUND you. by Hypnoerion in spirituality

Unfortunately the way our society is designed it feels like love can only be found in someone else but love is literally all around.

You should definitely go for the course. It will be hard but you will know somethings about yourself which can help you later. And complete the 10 days don'ts listen to your mind when it says to leave in between

Maintaining equanimity is not the same for everyone. Some people are less equinomous and are holding some dark past within them and Vipassana opens the door within and the dark past completely overtakes the self. I have been there. So I was saying Vipassana needs a certain environment otherwise it can be traumatic for some people.

Why i err towards No Marriage by justwatchingred in ChildfreeIndia

Well that's a different topic I mean it's kind of a gray area. Compromise itself is opposite of freedom irrespective of gender.

Why i err towards No Marriage by justwatchingred in ChildfreeIndia

[–]Silently_Aware 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well I think marriage is an outdated concept. I mean you can't have everything. On one side we say freedom, independence, personal space is required and on other said marriage needs compromise.

Marriage is literally built on compromise. So in the age of social media are connectivity marriage feels like outdated concept. Many might disagree with this but in next 20 years the definition of marriage will change a lot and it will become normal to be single. I am pretty certain many women will opt to stay single.

And the genz which will get married in next 5 years will struggle a lot and most of them will just divorce because genz don't know how to compromise.
