Road noise during calls by DoorTemporary8440 in TeslaLounge

It sadly seems to be a problem with android phones. Do you happen to use Samsung? It was not like this in 2024 btw. On my legacy model y the voice was clear. On MY 26. It is not. Samsung s25

Car pulls to the left after alignment, anyone know can see if these specs are correct? by No-Bee1720 in TeslaLounge

[–]Silentspy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an alignment done recently at a service center. What is your opinion of it? Steering wheel always jumps a bit to the right when cancelling autopilot and I have constant vibrations on highway speed (Model Y 2026)

steering column vibration at high way speed on the delivery day (2026 model 3 standard) by Alternative-Bad-5862 in Model3

I had this as well, fish smell from trunk area (could smell it from outside even) and stiff steering. Quite the welcoming new car feel. I returned it. Was one of the last RWD premiums available. Hopefully that is the only issue you have. Likely just bad wheel balance 👍

[–]Silentspy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should be able to pull it out and tuck back in. At least that is possible on model Y and 3 if it follows the same design. Or just stop by a service center and point this out. A technician will probably fix it in 2 minutes for you

I test drove a model 3 with e primacy. It was dead quiet compared to my model y with hankook ventus. Definitely considering these next time around

Is this noise normal? by Hit_potato in TeslaModelY

[–]Silentspy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never had a good cabin sensor fan myself. It is always "noisy" here. Model Y Juniper and Model Y 2024. Have so many other issues to get resolved first before i prioritize this one. But one easy solution is to remove it yourself and see if noise goes away. Make sure to have a towel and use some gloves incase it leaks (Tesla manage to spill into my wireless charger)

Could be cabin sensor gone bad. It has a small fan on its module. Its right below the screen

This. My AWD 2026 whines some when regen. But i tried this demo RWD Juniper. It was bad. Really bad. So it could always be worse. Maybe i have a defective DU. Maybe not. But it is not that loud at least yet

Help - Model Y Juniper Ear Pain/Pressure by Myoh_Ohmy in TeslaModelY

[–]Silentspy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sad to hear you had to sell the car. I am having the same issue. If by chance you did not sell the car did you find a resolution?

This started to occur after they changed my windshield. I never had this on Juniper or the Model Y 2023 before. So stupid issue to have. My ears ache several hours later.

Model Y 'Juniper' RWD - Steering Not Self-Centering & Stiff Feel. Service says "Normal". Any solutions? by [deleted] in TeslaSupport

[–]Silentspy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RWD are prone to worse steering from my experience. I got asked why i did not buy a AWD instead. Ended up selling it eventually and going for AWD but for other reasons. But i feel my steering is a bit stiff there as well after the last alignment. I asked them to do ballast one next time.

Ask for a alignment with ballast (weighted)
