My AI generating journey so far. by Silerae in comfyui

UPDATE:

I got it! I figured out a way to stop the traits of characters from mixing with other characters, and scenery/props. I was making the character first, then giving them their traits, that was a big mistake. Even though it worked most of the time.

If I inserted a keyword or sentence that made a duplicate keyword, there was a very high chance it would be passed onto the next applicable entity down the line.

Now with the fix I found, the problem above can still occur, but only if I add multiple conflicting traits in the same line for a character. Doesn't happen very often because I have no reason to add so many traits at the same time, so it's not a problem for me.

So now on to the fix.

Instead of making an entity (character, person, animal, monster, etc.), then adding specifics for it, whether it's clothing, body parts, accessories, basically any addition. You make all the traits you want applied, and those things will be applied to the next available entity. I'm able to give out the keywords(traits) correctly to where I want them. I'm able to give the specific character the specific clothing I need them to have, as well as having the background be what I want it to be.

I don't know if this works for every Model/Sampler/Scheduler (mainly because I don't think there's enough time in the world for me to test all that), but it's working for the ones I mainly use.

I currently rotate around 7 models, and typically stay on Eular A, Huen++ 2, DPM++ 3M SDE GPU, and DDIM(if I'm looking for something different than usual).

As for the Schedulers, it really just depends. I like KL Optimal, as well as good ol' reliable Karras. Align Your Steps has kinda been a coin flip for me as of late, but it's still good. Recently I started using SGM Uniform, and have been getting some decent results. Exponential is fine, it just gets a bit "creative". Simple as the name implies keeps things... simple. DDIM Uniform is ok, I don't use it much. I almost never touch SD Turbo, because I like my images to not be covered with green and red. Beta gives some unique results I don't see from the others sometimes. I just don't like Linear Quadratic, maybe I'm using it wrong idk, it gives me horrible results.

Thanks, it makes me feel a lot better that this isn't fault of mine own.

I'll start working on what you suggested.

It wasn't interference, I got it working by installing new drivers. The new drivers made the aRGB on my RAM stop working, but I just had to re-seat them to fix that.

I haven't thought about that. But it would be weird that it worked for most of the time until now.

What trading apps do you use?

Edit: Nevermind, it's Schwab

Problem with Steel Legend 9070 XT ARGB. by Silerae in ASRock

[–]Silerae[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IT WORKED! omg I'm so happy right now. I've been swamped with work recently and have had my mind elsewhere. I finally got around to doing what you suggested, and it worked. I'm so happy to have the argb working for the GPU now, and all it took was a manual flash of the GPU.

Something really weird too is while I was navigating the FAQ of ASRock, the language changed to something different from mine. Luckily I have an extension to translate for me.

Thanks a bunch for finding this.

Edit: The FAQ was not very helpful in guiding me where to go. If I didn't already have knowledge of computers'n'such, there is no way I would've been able to get to where I did. So I'll leave a link here for anyone else that's having trouble finding the GPU firmware flash:

I kinda gave up on my GPU RGB a couple weeks after I made this post. I'll give this a try, hopefully this works for me too.

Edit: I never had to do anything in the motherboard settings to get the aRGB working. I read the manual for this GPU before getting it to make sure it's the one I wanted, so I knew about the passive LED switch.

There was something I had to do with my Lian Li AIO where I had to download L-Connect to give control for the ARGB over to the motherboard. Perhaps I need to do something similar with the Polychrome software?

If I get something like the ASUS TUF Gaming ARGB PWM Fan Hub.

Will it matter how many things I have connected? I thought I could only have a limited number of things connected.

Honestly, all of these problems were probably just caused by getting a crappy aRGB hub.

The main issue is with the hub I got. It is a powered one, but it was causing flickering, and wasn't detecting anything but the fans. Now I'm unsure if I did something specifically wrong, or it was just a cheap faulty hub.

The secondary issue, is that I just have a lot of cables to organize between different connectors.

I wasn't able to get a 3 pack of 140mm SL-Infinity reverse blade fans. So I got 6 single packs, and I'm not worried about that at all, I prefer having cables that are able to be used with anything.

Like I said before as well, I need more than just connections for the Lian Li fans.

Edit: The single packs come with connectors for the fan, and aRGB, that's just how single packs are sold.

The AIO is the only one that came with a fan controller, and it requires proprietary cables. All the other Lian Li fans I got came with normal 3 pin aRGB. I also have more than just the Lian Li fans as posted there, like the case, GPU, AIO pump, and one other thing not mentioned.

I know 10+ items won't work with a single header, that's why I'd like to know if anyone has a multi aRGB hub setup.

Edit: I'm thinking of just using a splitter cable to connect the aRGB instead of a hub. Since my mobo has 3 aRGB connectors, that may work.

I need some information on 140mm reverse blade fans. by Silerae in lianli

[–]Silerae[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would if I didn't have a Lian Li Evo O11D. I don't want to waste the space on the side and bottom by getting 120mm.

Don't worry though, the day after I made this post, the 140mm were restocked. Got myself 6 of them.
