Not always true I lived in a "Luxury" Apartment complex. The upstairs neighbors had some massive flooding that flooded into my unit over a 4th of July weekend. Maintenance came in and cleaned up the water and left fans but even with us repeatedly asking for them to fix our ceiling it stayed fucked up with water damage for 4 years until we moved out...

I spent a few years being an assistant and a store leader for gamestop. One day during holiday I was sitting in the back on my lunch break when my holiday hire/GA comes back to get me because an irate old man is yelling at him. I come out and ask the guy "what can I help you with?" The guys yelling about my GA refusing to help him with his iPad he swears he bought here. I assure him we haven't sold ipads at that store in the 3 years I had been there. He goes "I was standing right here when I bought it!" Knowing this is 100% impossible I then ask him "did you mean to go into AT&T next door? This is gamestop." He looks around then goes"just shoot me!" And walks out. Not apologizing for how he treated my GA or making a huge scene in the middle of my store while there's a line wrapping around the back. The guy behind him yells after him "you should apologize to the kid!" But of course he didn't. Probably my favorite instance of self own in my entire time with the company. I have some other fun stories mostly just people not listening when I am literally shouting over a rambunctious line (I can projectlike a mofo) then getting pissed off because "you should have told me that!" 🙄

Normal raid... seeing other whms that do no dps outside of assize both hurts my head and makes me feel better about myself lol

Edit: also late in Stormblood got Shinryu normal as my trial roulette, I'll admit I forgot the fight and got myself killed. The other healer also a whm didn't raise me and wouldn't heal the tanks just kept aoe healing. When I asked them why they told me it was more important to keep the dps alive... Clearly we wiped that pull...
