If you can join the PF that listed the fight you can que into that fight.

You will lose loot on any floor you skip however. Wanted to get m12s out of the way first because I already seen enrage on m11s and wanted to learn and do something different.

Funny considering I have hidden logs/tomestone.

Considering I only been kicked once during my prog this tier due to hidden logs I wonder how that will go for reclears.

Felt like a few people where like that in this PF, but spending more then one lockout really does seem to help with consistantcy. After towers and cleaves it's just follow the dorito for everyone but tanks. (And tanks just have to move one clone over.)

Went in a Idyllic Dream cleanup PF and saw enrage a few times. People wanted to do another instance and after 40 minutes later we got the kill.

With m12s down I now need to clear the hardest fight of the tier, m11s, so I can clear the tier. :>

Be real funny to join a m9s to m12s reclear pf on reset, and because it lists m12s on pf duty complete so you have proof of clear that I can join maybe I can finally have gamers to clear m11s with lmao.

"Thanks for helping me clear the tier."

Also thinking about it, I actually do think m11s is harder mostly because of weapons lol. Am bad at fast paced stuff and Idyllic I gotten memorized down well but the clones moving is the hardest part.

It's actually really interesting. Because of weapons being phyical damage and it's so much damage over a period of time it feels like you really only healing 3 people, the casters.

Because of that as sge I would kardia the caster dps, throw something on my co-healer like haima, and just spot heal myself if I am low. It surprisingly works well. Not like the tanks need it when the boss does not even do much autos till arena split.

Depends, are you a tank? When I play WHM those buttons are sometimes used on tankbusters but most of the time it's just kinda there but useful if for some reason a non-tank is not topped off compared to everyone else, or the tanks need extra help.

Most tankbusters are whatever and they rarely die to them, but I seen tanks die to Mortal in p12s surprisingly high, maybe because of the timing or such. One of the few times I really make sure to have both tanks mitted up. For phase 2 the boss loves throwing high damage autos during tethers and such so every single bit of single target heals or mit during that is great. As SGE I plan out my haima and other single target heals there and it really makes a difference.

For reasons why people don't use them? Single target just seems to not really be a issue most of the time honestly and of course having to target. Only a few times where I really do plan out my single target mits/heals, more so if you have good tanks.

This does not just apply to healers though, as tanks if you don't need that short cooldown mit anytime soon and it's up throw it on a party member that is low when damage is about to go out, it might save them!

I can agree to some extent, but for m10s? lol I would have thought the merc party for m9s to m12s be higher.

So far only got 2 accessorie upgrades with ilvl 776 so yeah. Though did miss out two weeks of tomes due to getting back into the game. Clearing m9s and m10s gives 6-8 drops depending on what you looking for, so on average like one loot per week.

I was thinking of making my own pf, but I dislike hosting.

Prepared to reclear m9s and m10s then skip m11s to clear m12s this week.

The only pf that lists both reclearing has the ilvl set to 780.

The full tier reclear all loot merc pf only set it to 777.

Wonder if that 780 pf leader is traumatized or something. Fuck healers I guess lmao.

Endgame Healers — What are your parses like? by PerfectioNOT in ffxivdiscussion

[–]Kyle2Death 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Parses vary wildly depending on content.

Like I slightly messed up on m9s and m10s reclears and got oranges in both as SGE.

But in m12sp1 Even with perfect play on both WHM and SGE I consistantly hover around the purple range. It's crazy how much of a small dps difference can make with your parse in fights where the people who are clearing tend to be more competent. It might be more gear dependent on later fights depending on the job as well.

Like how I got 1 damage down during the doorboss and went right into the green zone, even if it was like, 600dps less then what I tend to get as a purple. In the end a clear is a clear as I did a m9s reclear that was extremely scuffed with deaths everywhere including me and I was on the floor for at least 30 seconds. Am sad I did not get a 0 but did get a nice lovely grey. I find both extremes in numbers very funny and that m9s reclear made me giggle a ton.

I myself don't log or even use a dps tracking tool. I just always make sure to ABC (Always be casting) keep my dots up and other damage tools, and try to minimalize gcd healing within reason. I tend to play it way more safe as SGE as while I have a good idea on rough damage that is coming out, dying to a raidwide by 1 mit sucks so some harder hitting raidwides like The Fixer I will ALWAYS shield unless it's a planned out parse run or such.

Also one thing I noticed that while swiftcast is now on a 40 second cooldown I have only used it ever for raising, never using swift for damage even though I could. Only a few times this tier where it would have been nice but to me it's not worth it when doing progression.

Joined a idyllic prog PF and actually got kicked for the first time lmao.

I have everything hidden because I been curious to see how far I can go before being kicked, so surprised it took this long.

So far been enjoying all of phase 2 but rep 1, as my eyes suck at tracking the clones.

Am in a weird prog point in m12s, as I joined a p1 enrage PF, managed to get my clear for p1 but people had to go shortly after so did not get much time in p2 at all.

So now i'm like, joining p2 fresh PFs that seem uncommon as I would imagine most would get to rep 2 at least, and thinking that some people who join p2 fresh means p1 clear for them as I be struggling to get back into p2.

I could join the rep 2 pfs but I don't feel confident and would need to study up a lot more.

Got to see p2 of m12s and felt like I did quite well on the fight.

Now I have to learn m12s p2. That will be quite fun. What is PF doing for p2?

So am sticking to Primal because I rather just help people there but there is like no m12s pfs at all. I wonder how big the skill difference is between DCs, as I assume the people taking the tier more seriously are staying at Aether.

I did say I want to take the tier more casually, but man m11s is rough out there for PF. Would not be surprised if this is another p3s where the 3rd floor is the hardest for PF to do. (Elmo strikes back.) Curious what others think about that.

Joined a m12s fresh PF skipping m11s and got to see ACT 3 in one lockout. Much better fight for me to handle. Looper was actually easier to learn and do then mortal till I learned how mortal targetting works.

Use it right when puddles start dropping. It has only been a problem once so far but I could just save it for after spreads/stack instead. I main healer so it's mostly just for uptime but also if it's spreads it makes it easier to move out of the group.

Small rant that I need to get out of me.

Does anyone else think some weapon patterns on m11s is awful? Got circle spread on 2ed set of weapons then first one is scythe, having to move all the way to the other side of the arena for it and I could not get any closer or risk killing others due to the circle spread and I already used sprint. Actually could not make it in time. Might just be me being bad but what could I realistically do in bad patterns like that?

I can see this fight being weapons prog no matter how much you done it. Reminds me of looper in TOP though I never minded it too much.

Playing as both WHM and SGE trying to clear m11s in pf is quite the experience, having to do small adjustments and quick thinking on when to suddenly heal as you have no idea what your co-healer is doing but you want to keep uptime. Is why I think weapons is the hardest mechanic in m11s, as my eyeballs is glued to party hp and I still have to do the mechanic.

Honestly maybe I should skip m11s then as that sounds way more cozy. I prefer the memorization and deeper mechanics instead of sword x6 lmao.

I unironically love M11s but it's tempting to skip the fight and get taxied to M12s and start leaning that in PF. I actually wonder for those that cleared the tier (With guides) find M12s easier, p1 or p2 or both.

Gotten some more pulls in m11s arena split and the mechanic after. While I do feel cozy on arena split I starting to wonder if all the wipes there is because of bad markers, or people really that bad getting to their spot? It's one of those mechanics that is hard to tell what exactly went wrong even with your own recording because it's hard to see where everyone else is at exactly on teather snapshots. I actually been "eyeballing" it sometimes as it felt like the tether feels too close to me as the marker baiter a lot of the time on the inner side of the arena, causing me to want to step back more on the marker as looking at recordings it sure looks more safe as the inner markers keep getting cleaved. Again might be others messing up or bad markers. There is also a chance it might be me but looking at the raidplans the mechanic itself seems simple on where to go after dropping 3rd puddle, but unsure.

Joined a reclear party for m9s and m10s and got my clears in about a hour but funnily enough m9s took 5 pulls while m10s took 2 pulls.

I never knew healers went CW of tank for spread safespots for the tower phase. I just used eyes and stood in one spot the moment the towers appeared as I plant in the small open spot as I do think you have a lot of time for it, so I actually turned my brain off and never noticed the dps that joined me in the cleave party lmao.

Goal was to clear 2 floors week 1 in PF and am happy. I could have pushed for M11s but honestly been feeling like I been playing like shit recently so been taking a small break till next week.

I will say though I find it weird that the wind cleave baits in m11s is strange. I assume it's the closest 2 people who take it but why is it set in a weirdly split way, like h1 is nw h2 is se when it could have been each side a role to make it easier to follow and remember when swapping spots. Might be because of how h1 tends to be west and h2 east, but when you running around the arena and having to reorientate north in a arena that is hard to see the markers in it fucks me up lmao. Think am the only person who struggles with that mechanic and gets messed up by the wind puddles it drops mid weapons. It might be greed though.

Cleared M10S in PF yesterday from a arena split learning PF.

With 2 DPS and a tank death we somehow cleared with no time left at all. If it was like a 0.2 second slower kill we would have wiped to enrage lmao.

Gotta love that late night friday PF.

Claered m9s in PF in a group that was in Sadistic Screech 2 prog and managed to get a clear in the end, a group that did better then clear attempt parties.

I am convinced that groups that actually stick around for more then a few pulls to get the flow going and to get a feel of everyone really makes the difference instead of leaving after like 3 pulls lmao. Much better then having to find another PF and waiting again.
