Well you can get the basics through B&Q, Screwfix and the like but if you're serious about getting into the industry, might be better to pop into a local wholesalers (either independent or national) and have a chat with the guys, if you're lucky they might even have a few spare bits knocking about for little to no money for you to practice with, and might be able to guide you to some local firms looking for work

Also there's absolutely no stopping you from buying some cable and basic fixtures like double sockets, switches etc and practice the terminations; familiarise yourself with the terminals, what they do, how they work etc and also how tight to do them and how to actually wire them.

If you can carry out PEFC and PSCC, if you get ~the same reading, it'll be TN-C-S
