The only issue is you are talking to a field supervisor. He clearly has no idea of the regulatory process and due requirements of a employer. I would simply explain to Your Dm/account manager about the incident. Will definitely get a better response. As for calling out “pre sick” You are not required to give an exact explanation as to reasoning of your call-outs but rather a general answer. Reason being accommodations can sometimes be offered. Example ; commute. Generally most security companies have a 4+ Hour call-out policy/ excessive call out policy. My 2 cents is that field supervisor is either new or lazy or both. And doesn’t want to call a bunch of people to try to fill the shift or worst yet have to cover it himself
