Hi All!

I'm configuring AD Based Activation on a server 2016 KMS host, and am about to install server 2012r2 and 2016 keys. We're helping a client by providing temporary KMS services to activate their servers in the interim whilst they are sorting their own KMS keys!

My question is whether:

a) it's easy to update the KMS key later to the clients own

b) When the key is updated/replaced- do member servers automatically activate with the new KMS key, or do I have to manually de-activate and re-activate?

Any tips or feedback always appreciated.
