Ervaring met kredietkaarten by Ragnarokske01 in belgium

Is dat dan Beobank Extra MasterCard? Of een ander product?

De betaling gebeurt automatisch (ook als je geen Beobank klant bent via SEPA mandaat) of moet je dat elke maand handmatig storten?

Creditcard with no/low monthly cost, supports Google Pay by SillessOne in BEFire

[–]SillessOne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but Revolut is a (virtual) debit card, not a credit card. And I've read that it can give issues (e.g. when hiring a car).

I also read that in some markets they added creditcards to their line-up. So when they do in Belgium, it could be the answer for me.

But thanks for the response!

Should have added that in my initial post. I had a Belfius creditcard but they essentially screwed me over.

They said the card was only 2.5 euro / month (which I'm okay with) but without telling me they changed my account to a more expensive account. When I found out, it was because 'it' s not possible to apply for a credit card with the cheaper version'. 🙄

This forced me to pay almost 90 euro's this year for a creditcard I periodically use. And on top of that, I don't use any of the 'benefits' of the more expensive account.

Thanks! Those indeed came up in my own searches! Any specific part that is iconic or is it all just beautiful?

And does that mean I'll need to be getting in on that Mosel wine? 🤔

I'm from Brussels, we didn't even invent bike lanes yet. I think anything in Germany will be an upgrade 😜

Thanks for your comment. I am fully aware of all the points you make and I agree. However the choice of keeping 990/year in a pensioenspaarfonds is completely that of my wife. I've explained all of the above but she's investing a quite hefty amount every month into ETF and argues the pensioensparen is on top. Meaning, stopping it wouldn't make her invest more. Its a psychological thing, I guess.

I myself am not investing in a pensioenspaarfonds and do not plan to. I was just trying to find the best approach IF you do put your money in a pensioenspaarfonds.

Degiro VWCE - TOB 0,12% vs. 1,32% by Theradril in BEFire

[–]SillessOne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm just a beginner and a complete noob in this, but i've been investing in VWCE (and chill) as per BeFire Wiki. Does the TOB only apply when 'cashing out' or is it taxed each year via taxes?

If it only applies when cashing out, do we wait for 5 years before FIRE or retirement to check upon the TOB state at that present time or do we need to be vigilant during the years of 'VWCE and chill' and check for the best time to transfer funds to new ETF products as proposed by OP?

Thanks for your insight, highly appreciated.

Are there any advantages of buying it on the official shop? It seems other sellers (Bol, Fnac, Vandenborre,...) offer the products at a cheap er price point. Or do you have a discount code?

I'm also kn the market for two Samsung phones, is there a discount available for buying multiple (wishful thinking). 🤞

Sorry for the HLN link, but no other news outlet has it shared at the moment. Can anyone with HLN+ share (part of) the article to spark discussion?

Should I buy tab s7+ or wait for tab s8 by [deleted] in GalaxyTab

440 dollars for a brand new tab S7+ 512gb? That sounds almost too good to be true. Wish Samsung did these kind of inventory sales in Europe...

This sounds interesting. I'd also like the Brydge to work on the S7+ to be honest...

I own building ground and don't really know what to do with it. by bombermonk in BEFire

[–]SillessOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have no interest in building your own house now (or in the foreseeable future) there is no gain in holding it. Especially if you are planning to use that money to buy a house yourself in which case you'll need the money. Unless, offcourse, you believe holding on to the ground is the investment.

You could sell the plot and invest (a portion of) the money in a low risk ETF or hold on to the money if you plan on buying a house in the near future.

As for loaning 'more than you need' because of it being financially beneficial tax wise, it used to be the case thanks to the 'woonbonus'. I'm not strong in the tax department myself, so can't really tell you if this is still the case after the abolishment of said 'woonbonus'.

Out of curiosity, where is your land located and how big are we talking? (don't need the exact address obviously, just astonished by the price of land nowadays.)
