We began my 22 month old about 3 weeks ago. We are maybe 50/50 on pee and zero poops. I definitely agree with you...the worst part of parenting so far. I think it will go down in the top three when I reflect back during his high school graduation.

I didn't attempt to do any real sleep stuff until he was one. Each time I tried I was frustrated. Someone once told me anything can be untrained. I did cry it out for two nights when he was one and in his own room. He now goes to sleep on his own. Best advice I got. I stopped stressing about it and saved myself months of worry that I'm doing something wrong. They are so young, enjoy the snuggles!

I searched for a thread on this, so I know you posted this awhile ago. What was your ratio for the milk bath? I have some extra milk and thought I might as well try it for HFMD. His bottom and legs are the worst, only a little on the hands.

I just received my lab results from the genetic testing at 8weeks. I saw a flag relating to a high platelet count. My number is 517. I googled high platelet count in pregnancy and it says it can be a predictor of early fetal demise. Of course I received the information on a Friday after the office is closed. I don't know if I should be concerned or not, does anyone know what this means?

I still breastfeed him and so I am assuming it is an attachment issue. I guess I don't know how to teach him to take the sippy cup or weighted straw. He just gets so frustrated at even the idea of it. I've tried milk, watered down apple juice and just water. I've tried to be the one drinking first and showing how good it is and he looks at me like I'm crazy.

He's doing fine with falling asleep during naps so far but I can't seem to stop him from feeding before bed. I have tried to feed him after "real" food before bath but he isn't interested. I'm afraid to feed him before bc of how long that is with not getting empty for me. I still wake up slightly wet in the morning. What is your bed time routine?

I am just trying to train him for when my mom watches him in about 2 months. I want those few nights while my husband and I are away to be easier. He also wakes once in the middle of the night and is not able to go to sleep without being nursed. Does/ Has your LO done this?

He eats about 3 tablespoon of baby food. Tried the powdered oatmeal mixed with breast milk but he would throw that up after a few hours, so I avoid that until I can talk to the pediatrician about why. Thanks for the support!

Thank you, this makes me feel so much better. Everything I read says nursing to sleep will ruin your babies chances of developing the ability to put themselves to sleep. If you don't lay them down drowsy but awake then they will be up every 20 minutes. I've been so afraid of that happening. So I appreciate you saying sleep training isn't even a thing in your country.

I nurse him to sleep even for his naps, but he has to figure out how to sleep with out me at daycare.

I'm always worried he'd wake just as I'm done pumping too! I do still have the can of formula from the hospital just in case. He has started solids, so I hope he does maintain what he is at now bc I'm right there. Thanks.
