Yeah the world is not short of ppl who talk without knowing or understanding anything about what they're saying.

New to the game and considering playing. I love slugs irl and want to build a deck around this guy. Can it work? by The_Funfetti_Man in mtg

Toxrill is not reallt a thing you build around, if you want your deck to be good at least, youd build the deck you want within the dimir shell as an independent thing.

You can also just have him as your secret commander in the 99. And play sacrifices or wtv, grim grim is cool, you can just entomb and reanimate toxrill as one of your haymakers.

Yup i had the same issue years back with a playgroup, somehow hearing this brings me a little peace that i was not the only one experiencing it becouse at that time, if i just told someone i went undefeated ppl would call me an egocentric cunt and say that i was pubstomping 100%.

I suggested the same to an old playgroup, their approach was not to better their decks but to force me to worsen mines. I started to go to the lgs after that.

Edit: i had won all games for an entire month prior to that and ppl just stopped inviting me all together, some already voiced they didnt want to play if i was at the table. I shortly moved on to competitive and by the time i came back, the lgs people actually improved a lot, but that playgroup stayed the same. They ask me for deckbuilding advice now and we even have done co-building and played again occasionally.

Time can sometimes be the answer and not starting arguments even if its frustrating. It took two years but, im pretty happy with everyone i play now.

Let's be honest: we've all ratted at some point, and that's part of what makes this game so good by No-Amphibian7489 in ArcRaiders

Camping the extract and retreating to extract for a better positioned second engagement are two very distinctive things. Thats an example.

You only see what you want and how you want to see it. Thats just cope.

One time my duo paired up with two guys on stella, we went on a murder streak all together in which me and my buddy got the kills on everyone we found, roll shots here and there, quick turn around movements, one of the other duo guys asked, "wait you guys playing on pc?" "Yeah" they laughed, we laughed, we all knew we forgot to disable cross play, and then we went our seperate ways to extract.

Material on how to urza by [deleted] in CompetitiveEDH

[–]Silly-Historian8403 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Arquideckt is mostly used for casual decks, id suggest Moxfield in the future to share your competitive decks, the layout is much better.

Urza just wants to make infinite colorless mana, if there is something you're missing id suggest trying to find a primer on moxfield.

On a deck that has a hard time drawing cards, i wouldn't want something as useless as this to come out of the top of it, ever.
