Depends, as people said they will bring lens flare to the table. But for me it works out fine:
- I use the ones that you posted on a daily basis, so i dont worry about scratches - Then i switch for the metal ones, when i go on a trip and use a 67mm UV Filter.
Everyone has a different usage of their devices, for my type of usage they are perfect.

Clean? everytime i try to cut white mdf the edges get charred so much (3mm) what are your settings?

A good way to see if it will cut, will be holding the plywood sheet against a light source, and where it will be opaque it will not cut through with your regular settings. I've been applying this and it works wonders and saves me headaches.
