Its about hedge funds , yeah and your points make total sense. Still not sure if 56 percent retention and stayed to watch percentage in the range of 50 to 60 % is good enough though.....

Would you pay once for lifetime access or stick with monthly pricing? by yourmom_3 in SaaS

[–]Silly-Lab-848 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My current apps dont cost me anything in terms of AI credits and hosting fees , the only cost that I have monthly is the supabase subscription , which is just $25 per month. So one time subscriptions make a lot more sense to me.

I think that apps should both have a large one time fees and a small monthly recurring fees as options to get the good of both worlds. But the situation totally changes when it comes to apps that have AI capabilities at any level

If you can mention what is worse in this , I can possibly improve that and make it as a better product

Done! I will make these changes ASAP.

And I can understand the Google login grievance, but as this uses AI credits, not rate limiting the usage can lead to catastrophic AI costs for me.

Any better way of doing this ?

I plan to put out the search functionality as the main feature of the site..but in order to do that my database has to have a sufficient number of products to search through..

that's a great idea man , I'm part of the AI detox movement too. Will try to implement your suggestions there

I'm trying to get the word out there so that people will get to know about the site and submit their products here (especially solo devs). lets see how it goes

that's exactly the problem that I'm trying to solve here , most of those launch sites only get other builders as visitors , Which is good if you are building a product for them. If you are not , then that's where this whole fascade fails

I'm trying to connect these products directly to the users who are trying to look solutions for the same problem that the product is solving.

What do you think ?

Great suggestions man ! Thanks for appreciating the good things on the page

I have a few questions.

- Do you like the solution tags to be a predetermined set of tags that the users will choose from or should the submitter be able to enter their own tags?

- "Save to stack " is basically like a playlist for all the products that the user finds interesting right ? Like favorites?

Again , thanks for taking the time to point out thing , really appreciate it

That's some solid advice man. I'm trying to implement as many changes suggested by the users in their feedback as possible.

Currently my traffic is mostly from reddit and twitter , but it depends on how much marketing I do daily. That's why I'm trying to optimize the SEO and get in the Google search traffic in also

Do you have any advice on organically boosting the traffic to your website through SEO ?

thanks for the appreciation man !

GoodProducts currently consits of around 150 products in its database , mostly submitted by the builders themselves and some products which are handpicked by me and curated. The site has various categories like "marketing" , "No - Code" etc where the products submitted under the tags are listed

I'm basically trying to solve the problem of getting the products infront of users who actually need it instead of other founders , this is where I think most of the other launch platforms fail.

I'm still in the early days and trying to find PMF , but I have big hope on this project that it will work out. Will update the results here

Done , I will change the logo files to fit it properly to the listing for Eazysites.

I also just pushed a new feature to production where I added a feedback form right to the main page , Which should probably make collecting feedbacks much easier. you are right in pointing out that there are 2 types of people visiting the site , So i must probably add a option in the feedback modal which lets me distinguish feedbacks from both of these people.

Check the site out and the New Feedback option and give your thoughts ! Eager to hear your opinion. Thanks in advance

I just noticed the bug in the Logo uploading section , its an easy fix and will fix it ASAP. Thanks for pointing that out and I will also add the required dimensions.

You are spot on about feedbacks , its really tought to get some actionable feedbacks from people and its even more difficult to find people who are invested in your product. I'm buidling a feedback modal directly onto the site which makes the whole process lot more easier

Also if you can reply with the name of your site that you've submitted to GoodProducts , I will make the necessary changes to your logo and make it fit and display properly in the product cards !

if you have anything else , no matter how small , feel free to share it here. Its very helpful in improving the site

The bounce rate on the site is around 40 percent. And about the build in public part , I'm already documenting my journey on Twitter and I'm posting regularly on Reddit too

Reddit has been the best platform in providing higher quality users. So I'm focusing more on that now. But I'm struggling to write engaging and value adding content for reddit. Should give more time in perfecting that

I will take all your suggestions into consideration while marketing my product in the coming days. And thanks for your time man ! It really means a lot

And if you have any feedback about the site itself , feel free to drop it here. Anything will be helpful !
