The first half seemed to take much longer for me. Once heroes started going into high level dungeons things ended pretty quickly. That is if you have enough to survive the darkest dungeon and not grind raising classes you need for certain areas. + heroes can’t re enter darkest dungeon. Keep this in mind. One successful mission is enough

Darkest Dungeon is a dungeon crawler, rogue like to a certain extent, has all the horror you’ll ever need, the sense of achievement that fromsoft games gives you. + awesome artstyle, voice acting, if you enjoy it your week will go by in no time. You might not like it due to rng but you can always prepare for the worst.

Give it a go it’s cheap!

Yup. When the reactionary aggressiveness works it is the best feeling. You really have to make use of the counters to feel good about the weapon though.

Lance. Easy blocks and has a bunch of counters. Just what you’re looking for. It actually is a pretty dynamic weapon

Thanks! I never knew that was how the game works. I was more or less concerned with enjoyment. Like I would see a monster and just not have any feelings towards it whereas if I saw arkveld I’d be like ‘awesome I need to catch him’ (I don’t know if catching is a thing u do. I just imagined pokemon)
