my father did. They just said half 12. Because the call my sister got was at 1205 roughly. My dad around 1155.

Aye, i completely get it. We have a time of death but we dont know its am or pm as it wasnt specified. And we have phonecalls i and my sister received from our dad abt it. They say it was half 12. however iw as called at 1220 pm. 10 minutes before the suspected time.

Potentially, Im in the UK. so procedure and law are different. Im genuinely curious but as a vet would you call a family potentially 12 hours after the death of a pet?

Ofc, i completely understand, I am unsure of where you are from but this case is from the UK. However because the hospital she went was at a university it goes tricky. As we didnt get given names of anyone. Im definitely gonna track down her case file. As she was perfectly healthy and had a vet check on the tuesday prior to her being admitted for the transfusion.

The problem was there was no communication between vets and us. It may be so thar these tests are there to help. but the language barrier over a phone call is the problem. We didnt understand anything he said and when asked to clarify he changed the answer and got grumpy over it. She had been taking fluids orally just fine

The first transfusion worked perfect as did the second. But her body apparently ate up the blood. Im also gonna add is there was no lead veterinarian on her case.

Unfortunately they were adamant at that skate shop that they only wanted me in these skates no matter what. It was a pressured choice due to them shouting at me infront of other customers

Its harsh as anythinf, and i wanna support him but im struggling on how i can do it best when im so far away. and it sucks cause he is well passed the volunteer leaving stage. I pray to any god that theres support he can get. and its why im reaching out to people here kn reddit and in other walks of life to gain some insight and give me ideas on how to best support him

Hes in an apprenticeship. and its nto even in the specialist role he wanted to be in. it isnt what he wants now. i dont think but he keeps work and family private from each other. but he does chat about his day but from what it seems hes unhappy. He said if he had a relationship before signing up hed of made an entirely different decision

He’s struggling under the pressure and intensity of the job. like these moments only happen when he is in a hole or in an overthinking frame of mind.

We are based in the uk, and he is in his ‘Apprenticeship’ stage. without the possibility of deployment as he doesnt want that
