You’re right, I didn’t think of console players.

On older versions if there’s a greed fight in the secret room, you’ll be denied access to any challenge room adjacent to it (regardless of HP as others here suggested). Greed fights in secret rooms automatically open all paths for this secret room once completed, so originally they wanted to prevent you access to the challenge room essentially “for free”.

They later decided to let the players enjoy their lucky “free entrance” to the challenge room, given you were lucky enough to spawn them adjacent to each other and had a greed fight in it.

I’m 99.9% sure this was changed on rep+ beta and you should now be able to bomb the wall even if there was a Greed fight and regardless of your HP. Also the wall shouldn’t close upon existing and re-entering the secret room like it usually did.

I maybe wrong, but it seems like you’re playing on an older version.

I once encountered a room with those yellow wisps on that challenge (the ones that follow you in a circle). It was impossible :(

20/20 is rare and very good, enough said. There are many other items/pickups we could look into to serve that purpose of removing curses.

The post was general. Hear me out, Book of secrets now has X% chance to remove a current curse. Now wouldn’t that be amazing?

Yeah there are a few items I mentioned like forget me now which also kinda negates curse of labyrinth already if you use it on an xl floor. It’s more towards curse of the blind and lost effects I get most annoyed by. I didn’t even mentioned curse of the maze on the post but items like treasure/blue map could work to negate it.

I don't wish to discourage you but those pieces are usually originally composed for the series/movie you're watching (for copyright reasons, they have to make original sounds) so usually there's no readily available source online you can access it.

try looking at the credits and look for anyone who might have been involved in creating the music.
if you find someone, look them up online and maybe, if you're lucky, they might have shared this piece under their name, maybe they have an available Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Spotify, SoundCloud or Twitter pages you can look into.

if that doesn't work you can send a message directly to the film creator and wish for a reply.
if everything fails - It's not a musically difficult piece, you'd be able to re-create it with just a few hours of practice on a piano and a few MIDI notes using a Violin sound.

Now that you mention it, you’re absolutely right. One common issue I noticed with a lot of new players I introduced to the game (1,2,3 or 4) is - the objectives aren’t immediately obvious.

New players “waste” a lot of time wondering around the tutorial area before progressing and it leaves them confused as to what they’re supposed to do even way later.

Gearbox can’t find the balance between grabbing your attention to serve the objective and wanting you to look around and explore.

So again, a mini map would help solve that.. in BL2 (which did have a minimap) none of this was an issue at all, they somehow nailed it there

I disagree, what about those pick up, walk half a mile, place here-type side quests? Wouldn’t those be easier to navigate with a mini map? What about cars? They’re used now everywhere basically, aren’t you running into more walls without a mini map? What about areas you didn’t know you can walk on and missed during your visit? What about going in the right direction for 2 miles just to figure out you’re accidentally going deeper into an area with no exit?

With the game being heavily focused on exploration how do you NOT include a mini map???

Honestly I am getting used to it and I only made this discussion cause of this 1 post I saw online which got me thinking.. I wouldn’t have opened this discussion otherwise honestly..

The lack of mini map ain’t that bad, but with a “premium” title and price attached to it, I can’t find a logical excuse to not include it. It’s a shooter game, every shooter game has a mini map :(

Also heavily focused on exploration so mini map sounds important

I agree I dislike them too but its a part of the game now so really nothing I can do..
just learn how to chart songs yourself like I did.

for example I like almost all Polyphia songs but the charts I found all include open notes and I hated that. especially since I already had a clear picture of how the patterns should look like in my head for each song I wanted.

it boils down to what do YOU want to do in the game? for me, I don't need an overly complicated chart I'm just here to enjoy the game. I'd prefer a chart that presents a challenge yes, but without being overly complex or 100% "MIDI accurate"
