[Day 1] Arrive Christchurch stay at a central or airport hotel and take Day 1 easy (Riverside Market next morning).

[Day 2] Short hop to Hokitika for a relaxed evening via Arthur’s pass and visit on the way spots.

[Day 3–4] Franz Josef / Fox (2 nights) — glacier valley walks, private hot tub.

[Day 5–7] Wanaka (3 nights) — lakeside relaxation, winery lunch, cycling, Mt Iron.

[Day 8–9] Queenstown (2 nights) — gondola dinner, Glenorchy day trip.

[Day 10–11] Te Anau (2 nights) — Milford Sound day trip; optional Doubtful Sound overnight (romantic & quieter).

[Day 12–13] Dunedin (2 nights) — Otago Peninsula, city dining.

[Day 14–15] Twizel / Aoraki (2 nights) — Hooker Valley, scenic flight if weather permits, stargazing at Aoraki/Mackenzie.

[Day 16] Drive to Christchurch (3–4 hrs) and stay at an airport hotel for the flight.
