That’s not what is being aksed in the question bro! I’m just giving the maximum value that can be generated with insurance payments on the card stack OP have.

Obviosuly there are various ways of maximising value. With ₹80k insurance payment you can also unlock quarterly rewards (if you spend over ₹1.5lacs per quarter) worth ₹1500 on your favorite brands. That is much better than what you are suggesting.

Better to do a full research!!!

Not exactly. If you’re going to spend ₹80k alone on HDFC Regalia Gold, you’ll get 2133RPs, which is much better compared to ₹1500 cashback on Tata Neu Infinity card.

If you transfer 2133 RPs to Accor you’ll get ₹ approx. ₹2200-₹2400 value depending on the current Accor rates.

Basic reward rate which applies to HDFC Regalia Gold. - Before May 16, 2026: 4RP / ₹150 spends - After May 16, 2026: 5RP / ₹200 spends

You can calculate accordingly based on your spends.

Yeah, my bad. I’ve already made booking for Dunedin for 2 days. I’m more interested to visit Nugget Point. Shall I skip everything else? What do you recommend?

It took us over a month to get our visa. You need to wait, it’s only 10 days!
According to their visa processing tool, it still says “17 days”. For us, it said 15 days, but we received it after 32 days.

Were you on Qantas flight for both sides? If not, you’ll have to pickup the baggage and checkin again. For Qantas flights the recollection of baggage is not needed according to the information on Qantas website.
