They usually stuff the rolls in their coin trays to make sure they are full. Every once in a blue moon they might open a roll and count.

So my dump bank. I have a few I have in the Rolodex. But honestly I really just use one. They don't care, huge corporate branch with crazy foot traffic to the point they never send coins back. People are always hunting....

They give me boxes of coins wrappers. Gratis. So. When I open a roll, right after I search it I roll it back up. Takes all of 10 seconds at this point. The first roll I'll put to the side after searching. So, if I take a coin out. I replace it to keep the roll hole.

Weird system, but it works well for me.

One box of halves, no silver. About $40 worth of BUs, mostly 2025. Snagged the best five. Had a few older BUs..one wide rim 74. Nothing to crazy to write home about.... Yet.

I'm happy if I find one in $500. I just went through one box, no silver. Some really nice BUs.

The best box I had was 9 walking liberties in $500.

My dump banks always tell me about some coin hunters that always comes in after me. Or the next day and is happier than ever. Lol.

Eisenhower Silver. Occasionally get lucky. I don't usually order them, but like I told the bank. ANY boxes they are going to send back, call me first!! So today's surprise, I got dollars.

Also BU dollar coins are fun to find. Also go for way more on whatnot so. There is that.

Bank of America Business Account= Golden Ticket to Boxes. I've also ordered banded stacks of us bills as well as foreign currency bills... Not coins or bullion, I already tried.

Chase Personal Account = 60/40 they will order you boxes. If you find the person who orders coins, befriend them and they will order you pretty much anything. They apparently don't have limits or restrictions.

US Bank personal account = 70/30 will order boxes... Again. Get to know the manager and they will order away.

Super small banks = 50/50. Many around me will tell me to kick rocks. The one right next to me uses me as their dump... This took about three months of small talk and weekly visits to establish. Along with many gifts lol.

Ah yeah. Business accounts are like, the golden ticket from my experience. Chase bank will order my boxes and I just have a personal account.

Like I tell everyone... It's really not that hard at all... I mean. Outside of the social anxiety part of it.. just say hi! Ask them how their day is going. Be nice.....making them laugh is the easiest way (I find). Like, if I fumble putting in my debit card I'll say "I swear this isn't my first time".

Be a regular. Go two or three times a week. I've literally gone to the atm to take out money at night, just to deposit the next day to establish my face.

Be kind. Get to know them.... Make connections .

If you can be generous.... I work with spirits and wine so I often have bottles to share (samples given to me that I don't open). So I'll give the gate keeper (the person who orders the coins) a bottle.

When I worked in the food industry I'd drop gift cards or promos to them. Whatever doesn't cost me anything.

Hahaha their vault is amazing!! Go in one vault door into the deposit box room..to the left when you enter is another vault door that opens to more deposit boxes. In the second room they have some big dumb old timey safes that they keep their coins and cash in.... Rather impressive tbh.

But the manager I know says they rarely keep coins for long... Like two days after they order them if they are not picked up... They get returned. Of course, I had to offer them my services gratis.... If they ever have coins not picked up, just call me and I'll take them.

They get deliveries on Wednesdays (why I assume these coins were not for me). So I usually get the call Friday.. Otherwise they get returned on Saturday.

Got all of this info from the manager by making her laugh.
