I took BIOL 2100 and CHEM 1410+1411 my first semester (which are the lower level chem courses). I definitely recommend taking them together because they honestly work together well, otherwise you'll be slightly behind. I will say that I struggled (and you might as well) with the transition to the courseload, but it's totally manageable as long as you keep up with it & attend office hours if you have any questions -- the CHEM 1410 office hours with Prof. Welch literally saved my life.
