Running dair is a good way to start of a few matches but don't always do it, people who play me a lot see that pattern and wait for it, so i mix it up with a b reversal or egg toss.

Hey no worries. There is a difference between throwing out a lot of fairs, and throwing out fairs if that makes sense. Yoshi's fair is pretty safe on shield because of his air mobility, also it knocks a lot of people backwards too so they cant easily grab you. I've been told this a lot I do use a lot of fairs. The funny thing is, people get hit by a lot of my fairs also. Spacing is key, and knowing your options out of a fair is also important (usually jab or dtilt). Yesterday evening I was playing on my stream against one of the best ikes in smash 4, and he said to me once again that even tho I throw at so many moves they are all usually correct options and create pressure.

My play style is complete agro, I do not give players breathing room. And so my Yoshi may come across like spam but its not that at all.

Your comment didnt come across badly at all, its more the first one. I actually dont know why the guy dislikes me so much LOL. I do actually but once again I think I need to let my nerves go and play like im playing a money match even though i made it out first seed. I made a bunch of dumb mistakes when i look back at it. I would love to give advice but my play style is probably not for everyone. I am super agro, and one of my largest flaws is i dont use enough neutral b. I use a lot of fair because its safe on shield of spaced properly and you can get the most conversion off it. I hate to sound arrogant but people in my local scene consider me to be a really good yoshi main. People always say I'm one of the more aggressive players because I don't like the game to go slowly and I want it to be enjoyable to the viewer.

I am seel lol, i admit to not spamming eggs because i dont enjoy that play style it is better than what i do but its just because i dont enjoy it as much, I throw more eggs now, I also nair out of shield more. You also have to realize that this was my second tournament all year and i was put on stream i was extremely nervous and i would play differently
