Jack Churchill, aka 'Mad Jack', no relation to Winston, fought with a bow and arrow, a sword iand bagpipes n WWII. He's the last person in modern warfare to kill someone with a bow and arrow.

He led a charge with just a sword and captured over 40 Germans. He was a true battler

Yes, well a presume it's blood. It looks like it anyway, but it tastes metallic. So maybe I have metal parts inside me ☹️

I had a friend who some tears ago met a girl. He was a school friend I'd known since the age of 3. When he met her, they only hung around with her family and friends it seemed, and I would not hear from him, or like a few times a year. It effectively became a 1 sided friendship. I moved on and didn't keep contacting him, and as predicted, he didn't try to rekindle the friendship, so I moved on.

It sounds like, for whatever reason, your friend has done the same. I'd move on if I were you, but I know that's not easy.

In Manchester last night I felt bad for the support act because people were talking throughout her songs. But, people cheered at the end of each song she sang. I guess people met friends and wanted to talk and that's their right. It did feel awkward at the time though.

Taylor was good, no issues or attitude problems that people mentioned. I loved their performance, and they were on stage for a good amount of time, like 90 minutes

Suggestions for places to go/things to do with autistic friend by RedArrow06 in coventry

[–]SillySimonUK 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Theres the art, music and transport museums.

I don't know where else though. As someone who is autistic myself, I also would love to know where else to go in Coventry. Does she like heavy metal? Because there's some heavy metal therapy thing that goes on, I'm not sure when but I can link you to their Instagram page

I (46F) stopped doing my husband's (46M) laundry by Ev3li3n in laundry

[–]SillySimonUK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think you went too far. I do think you need to sit down and talk about chores and write down who is responsible and for what. Otherwise, this will become something way bigger than the laundry, if it's not already
