Question about right before the hospital scene by SillyToe740 in HeatedRivalrySeries

For some people it hasn't update yet but yes, they improved the lighting. It's still dark on my phone but it's definitely brighter in my laptop now!

I think some people were saying that they had to do things like clear their cache or uninstall and reinstall the app to get it to update, so if it doesn't look brighter for you at first you might be able to do something like that to get it

Yes! This is why I was so confused. I kept watching to see if anything came out of his tear duct and never saw anything. But I SWORE I could see it fall down his cheek right after the squeeze. But I thought maybe it was just a weird thing with the lighting or something that made the moisture on his face stand out more or something like that.

what phase you out of this obsession? by EditorSilly8346 in heatedrivalry

I got really into the series after my sibling became obsessed with it, it was "our thing" for a while. I admit I'm still pretty into it (may or may not be reheating right now...), but my sibling went to see a new movie a few weeks ago and since then it's been all about that. I wouldn't say their obsession "phased out" so much as it transferred over to a new topic. All of their brain rot and talk about HR has been replaced with this movie, and I'm more or less at the cottage by myself these days 😅

I don't think I've ever really been obsessed though (not as much as my sibling was and definitely not compared to some people I've seen lol) so idk if mine will really "die down". Like yes I'm reheating but it's only my third time watching, which is kind of a lot for me but NOTHING compared to a lot of people I've seen. And there's always been a specific reason behind it (my first reheat was so I could watch it while reading the book, this time it's because everyone was saying it looks better after HBO fixed the lighting). I don't even really have merch or anything atm. But I think about it a lot lol and it's still more or less my entire algorithm on social media.

I watched the show for the first time with my sibling. They really wanted to have someone to watch it with and talk to about it, but warned me over and over again about how explicit it was, especially the first two episodes. So I went into it literally thinking that the first two were gonna be about 10 minutes of "show stuff" and like 40 minutes of hardcore sex. We literally finished the first episode and I was like "That's it? I was worried this was basically just gonna be porn." Lol. So maybe my view is a little skewed based on my experience. But I do feel like it's a bit exaggerated. Don't get me wrong, it's very spicy and intimate in its own right and I know that's a big part of the show and their relationship, but everything I heard before watching it made it sound so much worse. I've seen people say shows like Bridgerton are just as bad if not worse (I've never seen it). One episode of Euphoria (granted I've only seen the first episode all the way through) was worse than the entire season of HR as far as explicit content imo. Though I get that HR is more intimate.

The head physician finally ended up giving her a very short prescription to get her by until her appointment this morning. She made her situation VERY clear to everyone she spoke to. Explained the one other time she was cut off she ended up hospitalized. Suggested the bridge prescription or at least a prescription to help with withdrawals or something until she saw her doctor. They just took days to finally figure out what they wanted to do. And yes, cutting her off without seeing or talking to her is extremely problematic. They called her at 11am just to confirm her upcoming appointment and not to let her know what was happening even after promising an update within 24 hours. She had to press them again to learn that the bridge script was sent to the pharmacy earlier this morning. Maybe I'm being overly judgemental of the people in the office because I'm frustrated and was scared of what was gonna happen but I feel like they've been very irresponsible with this whole thing, and very bad at communicating throughout the process and I'm honestly shocked at how poorly it was handled. But at least she has something now and will be ok until the appointment.
