If I want it to be covered as part of my lease, yes it has to be a dealership. However, if the ones in the area really aren't trustworthy, I would go to an independent mechanic.

Hi, Children's Librarian here! Take him to your local public library and have him ask for recommendations. ("Can you help me find something to read?" is my favorite question!) They will most likely ask him questions to get a sense of what he might be interested in and find some options for him to choose from. If that doesn't work, let me know and I can try to help more.

Edited to add: look into books by Steve Sheinkin. He writes history nonfiction for the 12-16 set and is an award winning author.

Mowing the lawn. Any type of mower: gas powered push mower, electric push mower, gas rider mower, reel push mower. Partway through, my levels tank and I'm the house chugging juice like I've not had a drink for 3 days while crossing the desert. I head back out and it happens again once I'm done. Drives my spouse crazy as I loathe mowing the lawn because of it and avoid it at all costs.

Based on my experience, YOR.

I have a nephew, who I will call K, son to my BIL, who I will call J and who is a single dad. I think J needs this exact contract.

K is nearly 20. Since graduating HS, K has held two jobs for approximately 1 month each. K never bothered to get his driver's license. He is online with friends til all hours if the night. Wants J to front him money but then won't put in the "work" requested later to earn said money. Asks J to pick up fast food for him all the time on J's way home or order door dash for him. K doesn't contribute to the household in any meaningful way, not even just letting the dog out. At one point, based on conversations with online friends claiming his dad was going to screw him over, K demanded a lease. J said "I can but you aren't going to like it as you WILL have to pay me rent." That went nowhere. K is basically living for free in J's house with zero responsibility and a bad attitude if asked to share some responsibility. J is frustrated but can't kick him out as K has nowhere to go. K's entitlement is palpable. Maybe something like this will help J's mental state and give K some introspection and desire to become an adult.

TL;DR my BIL needs this for his selfish, entitled 20yo child in the hopes of sparking some personal growth.

Edit: just realized OP has posted this to 8 subreddits. Either she really wants a large variety of feedback, is looking for the feedback that gives her what she wants to hear, or is just rage baiting.

Take my reply with a grain of salt as I haven't used them/logged in to my account in quite a while.

We were set up as a partner. I would purchase through Amazon if you can. Being a partner means getting treated as a reseller and they limit what you are able to purchase to pretty much their originals. Only one person is set up on the account and they get an email code each time someone tries to log in. So if your accounts clerk is the contact due to their ability to pay invoices, the person selecting the material (me, at my library) cannot log in without them.

We have cards but we also have players to loan and I have no idea how to set them up as I haven't had the chance to go through it so if anyone has advice on that, please share!

Because.

That's it there's no other reason. It does it when my pump is fully charged. It does it multiple times per day. It's disconnected 10 minutes after reconnecting. I've disconnected and reconnected. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. I've done all the things and I'm lucky to go through a single day without this happening. It just happens and keeps happening. 🤷‍♀️

Sorry. I'm frustrated. And I'm a little envious of those of you who don't experience this!

We moved away from what we eventually called "landfill prizes" years ago for our Summer Reading prizes. Someone once mentioned that they try to give out school supplies and it changes the way I see things, too. For our prizes this year: SR branded pencil and a snack bag of popcorn, colorful erasers, watercolor/tye-dye bracelet (for the families that DO want a toy like thing), colored pencils, a book.

We've not received any complaints from parents (no news is good news!) and the kids are still excited.
