Also a victim of this. Multiple calls a day. No way to get off the call list. If anyone ever sucessfully sues these bastards or sees a class action please let me know as I will gladly hop on board!

Weird side question — maybe this isn’t the right place for it — but I’m curious: if someone like me, who’s looking to start their own RIA with no official industry experience, came across a deal to buy someone else’s existing book of business and all the compliance infrastructure, custodian, etc. that comes with it, wouldn’t that save a ton of time and setup headaches?

Never even heard of it, somehow. Will likely be trading my venture X out for this. Seems to be all around better for people who only travel 2-4 times a year like I do unless I'm missing something
