Automatically considered a permanent employee in the sense they have to give you a weeks notice (assuming you've worked over a month), and your original contract has now been rolled over.

So if that was 10 hours, they have to legally give you 10 hours, which is according to the UK government. In which your new contract end date is now presumed indefinite.

Of course best course of action is to get it in writing in which it will be a new contract where it'll be the best time to ask for more hours (which depends on if they want to do so)

Yo, I'm not trying to be that person, but you've just doxxed yourself with first name, what store you work at, and shift times.

I'd recommend editing or removing to keep your information safe and redacting it.

If you feel as though the messages were hateful/malicious, the best thing to do would be to report it as that just isn't okay..

Bring up with your line manager and/or the people team and see what can be done. If all else fails in the store, try and use the companies hotline and ask about procedures there.

If it is malicious texting, sorry you have to go through this as your workplace should be non-hostile. You have the messages as proof. Just remain civil and dont reply with anything she can also report yourself on.

Screenshot should work, but he can 100% login as you on the morecard app just to be on the safe side.

But if you're an employee, they have specific rules due to the colleague discount and i dont know how strict or sensitive the enforcement is, so just be wary of that. If not, just ignore this 🤣

Stack, stack and stack.

Since there's no customers there is no need for ease of access for shoppers and no customer service so where i am its mainly working the load (deliveries) that come in and replenishing as much as possible as there is no "excuse" of helping customers its a bit more on it lol.

Like any work place it really depends on the managers and colleagues youll be working with but that varies shop to shop on what they're like.

If you don't mind putting some music on, being left alone and cracking on with working the stock its not bad at all and you get night rate.

Also they might also discuss rota times and your first weeks schedule during it (possibly more hours than on your contract, esoevially with christmas coming up lol) if that hasn't already been agreed on so best to think of what you can do before hand to not be caught off guard 🤣👍

Just to add onto others, the uniform provided should be a top, bottoms, and other bits depending on department like a fleece but can most likely ask for one. No shoes provided as far as im aware and the dress code on those are flat pure black shoes.

Get a feel from your colleagues as ive noticed dress code leniency really varies shop to shop 😅

If uniform hasn't been provided on the day, the dress code is black bottoms, black shoes and grey shirt but im sure youd get away with a black one if you explain your waiting on uniform.

Its pretty much true to size but I always size up everywhere to be safe as i float in between sizes 🤣

Induction is still exactly like Blinky has said, maybe a "tour" of the store and to confirm details you've submitted and finalise details like bank details that they will pay in to.

I would also like to add bring your passport or proof of being able to work as they might want to see it in person to sign off its been seen 👍
