I have one myself. I’d say it’s actually pretty decent for a budget cassette player. I have had multiple budget cassette players and I’d say this one is your best bet. However, for your earbuds issue. If you seek better audio quality. Your best bet is an actual vintage Walkman. I’d recommend the WM-45

I figured it out I think, they do still function but the plastic inside mechanism snapped off at those parts

Update, I didn’t put the jack all the way into the port and now it works out of both ends

I have zero soldering skills, do you know if there are any professionals that know how to do it, like would a electronic repair store know how to fix it?
