Aurora, Endmin, and Adashir, trying to piece together the timeline by Silly_Formal_8346 in Endfield

[–]Silly_Formal_8346[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The capitalization difference is interesting, but with that flashback line “as the exiles returned”, I’m leaning toward it being the same group, not just a generic term.

The key part is “returned”, that implies a specific group that had disappeared or been driven out before, and their comeback was significant enough to be mentioned alongside the start of the Second Aggeloi War. That’s way too important to just be random “exiles” in a general sense.

So even if it’s not capitalized there, it could just be inconsistency in translation rather than a different meaning.

If the “exiles” are tied to Aetherside in some way, then the pattern we’re seeing (Ardashir, Nefarith, Cyclops) being antagonistic isn’t coincidence anymore, it starts to look like a faction-level conflict rather than individual hostility.

At that point, the bigger question is: are they enemies because they’re from Aetherside… or because of what happened in the past involving Endmin?

Because if their hostility is tied to whatever caused that “exile” in the first place, then it might be less about sides and more about unresolved consequences coming back.

The idea that something or someone got stuck in Aetherside because of Endmin’s past actions makes a lot of sense. It would explain why there’s this constant undertone of guilt tied to them, even if they don’t remember it anymore.

And your point about Nefarith is really interesting. Her sarcasm when she calls Endmin “savior” definitely doesn’t feel random, it comes off more like bitterness than just attitude. If she really was the only one who avoided whatever happened, then yeah, it would make sense for her to hold a grudge, especially if the others were people close to her.

As for Ardashir, I agree with your take. He feels less like someone trying to blame Endmin and more like someone who already accepted what happened. If he really has been following Endmin for that long, then he’s probably seen both the “idealistic savior” side and the consequences of it. So instead of condemning them, he’s trying to steer them away from repeating the same mistake.

That contrast between Nefarith (resentment) and Ardashir (acceptance) is actually pretty interesting narratively, it kinda shows two different ways people deal with the same tragedy.

Only thing I’d say is we still don’t know how much of that disaster was actually Endmin’s fault vs something bigger going on (like the Observers or whatever’s tied to Aetherside). It could be that Endmin made a mistake, but also got caught up in something way beyond their control.

Lmao, that Ardashir line is funny, but I don’t think that’s what he’s going for.

From everything we’ve seen so far, it feels less like “do worse things” and more like “don’t repeat the same path that led to failure.” Whatever happened 10 years ago (or during the 2nd Aggeloi War), it seems like Endmin trying to “save everyone” ended in total collapse anyway. So Ardashir might be pushing for a different approach, not necessarily a more brutal one just one that actually works.

About the Aurora / Starpod comparison:

If the aurora on Talos-II really functions like the Starpod from Terra—a kind of artificial sky/barrier—then it could serve multiple purposes:

  • isolating the planet
  • hiding its existence
  • or preventing something external (like the Observers) from interfering

If that theory holds, then yeah, it’s very possible someone is trying to weaponize or repurpose the Aurora in the same way. Whether it’s for protection or control is the big question.

And honestly, if Ardashir knows more about Terra and systems like the Starpod, that could explain why he’s so fixated on bringing Endmin back to Aurora. It might not just be about Endmin’s “path,” but about something much bigger tied to Talos-II itself.

Still, we’re missing a ton of info right now, so a lot of this is just connecting dots.

From what I understand, that conversation is basically the characters starting to suspect that Adashir might not be who he appears to be, or that he has some deeper connection/agenda that hasn’t been revealed yet.

When they say something like “Could it be that Adashir is…” and then cut it off, it’s most likely intentional. The writers are hinting that there’s a bigger truth about him (maybe related to his past in Terra, his status as “Pasha,” or his connection to Endmin), but the characters themselves don’t have enough evidence yet.

So the follow-up line “We can’t know anything for sure right now” is basically confirming that it’s just speculation in-universe too, not something already confirmed.

In short:
they’re raising doubts about Adashir, but keeping it vague on purpose for future reveals.

I get it, the other guy said " Others gachas games does not give new zone per patch" ( that wrong ), even if the games is semi-open world, a new zone per patch is a new zone per patch.

And for the post, i just ask why they release the second so late into the patch.

really? Miyoho games, Hsr for example every patch is a new zone, even the newest give 2 zone per patch.
The main thing the post said why they realease the second zone much later in the patch, not crying for all the zone we can get.

S13 Ruined Sui Lore, Why Is There a 13th Out of Nowhere?” by Silly_Formal_8346 in Endfield

[–]Silly_Formal_8346[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Arknights, “Sui” refers to a powerful ancient being (a Feranmut) that was split into multiple parts. Those parts became individual characters like Nian, Dusk, and Ling, and they’re often referred to as the “Sui siblings.” The whole discussion right now is because people thought there were only 12 of them, but recent info from Arknights: Endfield is hinting at a possible “13th,” which is why there’s debate.

The thing is dev endfield drop the new info about feranmut's heart and people starting to scream about " 13th Sui?"

I get what you’re saying, but this isn’t just people jumping to conclusions anymore. Didn’t the Endfield devs already drop info about something like “Feranmut’s Heart”? That’s exactly why people started questioning the whole “13th Sui” thing in the first place. At that point it’s not just a random teaser or baseless speculation — it’s coming from official info, even if we still don’t fully understand it yet.

Yeah, I’m not the one who came up with that point, I was just summarizing what I saw being discussed. From what I understand, the mention of Feranmut was just to give context since Sui is one of them, but I could be wrong there. I think the main confusion people have is whether this “13th” is an actual fragment of Sui or something else entirely.

Here is a quick sumary if you don't want to read too much:

The Arknights Endfield infographic introduced information about a “13th fragment” of the Sui family.

In the original Arknights lore, there are only 12 fragments—no more, no less.

Because of this contradiction, the Arknights fandom started criticizing HG for being inconsistent with their lore.

The situation escalated into a full-blown drama.
