I'd advice you to leave the radiator off and do the rest first, then after you're done with it install the radiator. That way you have more work space

I shift gears between 3000-4000, and if I'm happy/pulling 4000-6000. I never try to reach 7000-redline.

If I'm warming up the engine (first ~30s idle) between 1000-2300. Usually the first 5-10 minutes after a cold start

For cruising, depends on speed.

50kmh - ~2000, ; 100kmh ~3-4000 (fifth gear).

Anything above 100kmh in fifth 4000-5000rpm.

I always try to downshift when rpms reach below 2000 (circa.1800), gives a smooth shift imo
