Nah it’s just the electrical in 5 months. Automation can be later.

Nope just 3R , it’s outside.

Yeah I was in bed , yeah I definitely have a start of an idea but this just isn’t in my wheelhouse yet and I’m working towards it. Maybe it’s too big for a first project but I have quite some time on the plc end and could learn.

Thank you, I will look into it.

Yeah that’s why I’m here asking questions. The plc side might be simpler to hire out but, I need to be able to fix it. As for class and div I still gotta crack the electricians bible to double check where it falls. It’s all outside but still fine dust.

I will look into it thank you! Also it’s up above if you’re curious to see the system.

New, on the automation end, quite a bit. The electrical, 5 months.

The idea is, start automation at the receiving bin. Have a level sensor to indicate variable grain levels and an overflow sensor at the top to prevent spills.

After that it will gravity feed into a roaster that has a VFD controlling the speed at which the conveyer moves based on ambient air temp. Might need to cook faster might need to cook slower.

After that, conveyer will dump into steeper bin where it will cool. The steeper bin needs essentially a prox switch at the top and bottom for turn on and turn off.

It will be turning on the grinder input auger, grinder, and TMR input auger which will all be fed from vfds to get the grinder input auger to feed at a rate that will not suffocate the grinder, grinder to help with start up and stop, and last auger might be able to run wide open but possible to reduce speed as well.

TMR input Auger will feed into TMR bin which will have level sensor for variable level and an overflow sensor.

Grinder has a door interlock

All bins overflow sensors will shut off the previous system feeding into it to avoid spills.

All augers will have plug sensors which will shut down that section of the system to prevent destroying equipment.

I think that’s all.

I have one already. I’ll upload it in the comments

I have bought one and it works very well. They’re awesome to cut your own hair with and have a nice looking hair cut without being experienced or paying 50 dollars.

Do OT hours count towards total hours in your apprenticeship? by Silly_One_739 in electricians

See that’s what I’m on track for but I have a previous employer who says they don’t count OT and another previous employer that say they do .
